Two months after graduating from Stanford, Kaidou finds himself back in Tokyo and aimlessly wandering. When a sudden rainstorm strikes, he finds himself taking cover in a nearby jazz club only to have a chance encounter with Kuboyasu.

Old feelings begin to resurface as they reconnect after four years apart, and Kaidou slowly comes to terms that he’s just as enchanted to meet him as he was they day he saved him. He’s just praying that there isn’t someone else in Kuboyasu’s life.

Jay gets frustrated with Alex and tells him he wishes he would disappear/get taken away. When things go exactly as he wishes, he immediately realizes his foolishness, and sets out to find him. He is accompanied by Tim, who is an unhelpful acquaintance at first, but soon falls in love with Jay, and they work together, along with the company of a few others, to get to the center of Rosswood Labrynth and rescue Alex
