This Sparks With Me On A Primal Level. I Had A Save File Right Near The End And Would Replay The Final
This sparks with me on a primal level. I had a save file right near the end and would replay the final fights when I was going through a pretty dark time.

Fact: I would replay the entire 25 hours of KH2 just to be able to spend the last 30 minutes looking at Sora and Riku linking up and fist bumping after their link attack.

Umbrella Academy, Hamilton, Part 5
Okay, I lied, this one is ACTUALLY Toronto!
But I figured as long as I was doing these:

Across the street from the Griddy's Doughnuts we can see a red brick building with the stone text Gladstone House. We can also tell this is Toronto because of the street car lines running above the road, and the tacky as shit glass condo on the left. But not TOO far down town, because you wouldn't be able to see the sky for all the tacky bullshit overpriced glass condos.
One search for 'Gladstone House' lands us over here:

And as you can see, South across the street from the house is a parking lot with a lonely building in the middle. May I present:

The property when Google drive by is advertised for sale as.... You guessed it! More shitty glass condo towers! At least you're consistent, Toronto.
Umbrella Academy, Hamilton, Part 3
Episode 3 and ten seconds in.

Guys. Come on. This means they closed King Street downtown Hamilton. During the daytime.
Imagine if your town only had one real way to get east to west. And it bottlenecks in the middle.
And then someone closed the bottleneck.
So Ellen Page could walk across the street.
Also I love that they turned the Starspark Computer Store into a Pawn Shop because there are LITERALLY five ACTUAL pawn shops within six blocks of this shot.

Yay Hamilton!

Show some respect, people.
-Screaming "Simple and Clean" inside my motorcycle helmet while I wait for the red light to change. These past two weeks, phew. KH3 was good, lookin' forward to more.
Never had coworkers who played videogames when Kingdom Hearts all first started, Garwik was the one who was interested in it, I was sort of noncommital. I'd discovered Studio Ghibli in 1997 and was increasingly unimpressed with how cliche and uninspired Disney films seemed comparatively. I'd played a few Square games, but meh? Running around in the stupid derivative media Mouse worlds? For some reason I started playing it anyway, and Riku caught my attention as a character. Yah, yah, the tortured hero schtick.
And it's, what, 17 years later?
It's fun with the internet and social media now; to see everyone talking and sharing and making art and coming up with plot theories. You're all awesome.
I got a Riku hoodie for Xmas, maybe I'll wear it to work next week and see if anyone comments. A couple years back I had a Tevinter Imperium sweatshirt from Dragon Age 3 and one of the actors was like !!! and we both ignored work for five minutes talking about who we romanced, as you do. (DORIAN).
some of you haven’t been playing kh since 2002 and it shows
