Too Much Analyzing Of Ages and the Timeline in ROTTMNT

So i've been overthinking naturally about ages in Rise of the TMNT, because I needed the info for Ironhearted (a fic). Fair warning this is indeed a bit wordy, apologize for that! Edit 11/17/22: ...this is all bullshit now BUT, if you want to still read this, go ahead! (Since it's now confirmed that the Movie takes place a bit after Season 2...)

In 2018, the turtles and April were 13 (Mikey), 14 (Leo + Donnie), 15 (Raph) and 16 (April). This makes sense, right? Well, I was in the assumption that the ROTTMNT: The Movie took place in 2022 (since the show likes to say consistent to the layout of real-life dates and in show dates).

Which is not right, actually. We're going to do a lot of inferencing here, folks. So assuming that turtles birthdays are in the spring (in the Splinter flashback of him hiding out in that box, it was raining, so we're going to say that they were mutated sometime in the Spring. This is going to be importantish later.

In the episode "Lair Games," it is shown that the name cards that pull up on screen are dated to "Lair Games: 2019."

So, naturally, that would make them all a year older, at least after a while. The age up would make them 14 (Mikey), 15 (Leo + Donnie), 16 (Raph) and 17 (April). It makes sense April is 17, Fandom wiki says so too, due to that birthday episode with what's-his-name.

To get our minds straight (and mine, I'm losing my mind still over this): 2018 - 13, 14, 14, 15, 16 2019 - 14, 15, 15, 16, 17

It is confirmed for the movie that everyone is aged up by two years, which makes the turtles and April a year older than 2019. Which would place the movie around Mid 2020 or early 2021. I doubt early 2021, because New York City would be in the dead middle of winter, and trust me, seeing no snow in New York during winter is a blessing.

And if we estimate that their birthdays are around Spring, it gives us at least a few months to differ from. I suggest around June, July, August and September is when the Kraang invasion took place. Either that or early fall, which would be late September early October. I tend to think the latter, as it would make relatively a lot more sense. April is at college, so it's definitely during school days and hours and when school is open.

So what do we get out of all of this? Well, 2020 is the most likely time for the Kraang invasion (ouch).

Which leaves our results as follows: 2018 - 13, 14, 14, 15, 16 2019 - 14, 15, 15, 16, 17 2020 - 15, 16, 16, 17, 18

But did I dare say stop there? HELL NO I DIDN'T! I then went to calculate about what years in between the end of Leonardo Hamato in the future would be and when Casey JR gets sent back in time.

According and saying the apocalypse happened in 2020 and inferring Leo is around his late 30s early 40s in the future when he see him, it would be around 2050 - 2060 when him and Mikey perish.

Okay forget the paragraph above, it is confirmed that it was 2044 when Casey left, I just went to his wiki and found it out HAHA. Thank god it was only simple math for that last part. WHICH MEANS THAT...

Ages in 2044 (alive or dead, imagine they're all alive) Mikey - 39 Leo - 40 Donnie - 40 Raph - 41 April - 42

I don't know if the ages have been confirmed anywhere, but hey, these are what mathematically they should be (or not, I'm mid when it comes to math)! Maybe I'll overthink Casey JR's age sometime in the future, but I personally headcanon he's around 15-17. Maybe even Splinter/Lou Jitsu/Hamato Yoshi.
