forgive me if I've already asked this but how/when did you get into Voltaire's music (and other work)?(◎ ◎)

Well, I've sort of been aware of some of the songs (like Death Death Devil Devil... and When You're Evil) for a long time (cause I've been around for a long time 😝) and then one day I was talking about like the fact that he speaks English and Spanish and also has done (at least) one song in Japanese (cause I have a language fetish 😝) and my husband goes "He did an Icelandic one as well." and I was just like "WHAAAA?!" 😝 He didn't remember which album it was on so I went to Spotify to search for it. By the time I found it I was doomed. 😝 Like, I don't know why it was that I sank so deep then and not before, but that's what happened. Quite possibly the songs that I found (that I didn't know about before) just gave me something that I needed. My brain was kind of in the shit at the time, like I was writing my doctoral thesis and it seemed endless and I had deleted all my social media because it was just making me sick. But then I thought I could try Instagram (cause I never had an account there before), you know, just to follow Voltaire (cause I sure as shit didn't want to go back to Facebook). When I had the account I thought I might as well post some stuff. I made my first Instagram post late October '21 I think so just before that I was engulfed by the Voltaire rabbit hole. 😝 So I've not been actively following (and digging up) his work for very long but I make up for it with enthusiasm. 😝😝 I talk about him so much and spend so much time working on stuff related to him that my husband has started referring to him as a part of our polycule 🤣🤣🤣
