I can't tell you how many times somebody decided I needed to hear about some gross injury or situation they were in recently, and as somebody with horribly intrusive thoughts, this shit will ruin the rest of my day!

I like to freak people out just as much as the next person, but there's a big difference between "gross, keep going" and "gross, please stop"

Beauty is finite. The lampshade in the foreground is new. The Artist was in his San Simeon/Julia Morgan mode and created it in mica, taking a very simple used frame found at the local swap meet, and fashioning this heraldic..almost stained glass like shade. The lamp in the background is a Steuben piece of the Chrysanthemum acid etched design. The lampshade is original to the green lamp, and to the house….I suppose purchased when it was brand new in the early 20th century. Can you imagine…an hand-made lamp and an hand stitched lampshade. …and yet Antifa gremlins would destroy all this within 5 minutes.
