Bruno’s head was spinning, his face was flushed red as he sipped more and more on the whiskey he bought from downtown. His eyes wandered over his partner who was dancing with Felix and Pepa, the Madrigal’s had decided to have a small party just for the fun of it! 

He watched as Y/n twirled and laughed as they danced with Pepa “You’re such a good dancer Y/n!” Y/n laughed “Thanks!” Bruno couldnt help but smile drunkenly as he watched the interaction. 

His heart began fluttering as he continued to think about Y/n. When he left, he thought Y/n would be angry and leave him for someone else! But as the years went on, he saw that Y/n stuck around the Madrigal house. Doing chores and helping raise his nieces and nephews; he fell harder for them seeing this. 

After the fall of Casita, Bruno revealed himself to his family and lover. Y/n was understandably upset for a few hours but soon let it go as they realized Bruno never TRULY left and was watching all these years.

Bruno’s mind wandered to all the nights the two spent cuddled up in near a fire and cute dates down in the town. The loving hours spent sharing kisses and much more. 

Snapping out of the drunken stance he was in when the person he was day dreaming about came up to him giving him a kiss on the cheek before taking the whiskey from his hands, taking a huge swig from the glass. 

“You ready to go to bed now?” Y/n asked noticing how drunk their lover has become “Y-Yeah, probably sh-should,” Bruno slurred standing from his seat. Y/n wrapped their arms around Bruno to steady him as they both stumbled towards Bruno’s room. 

Y/n waved and called over to Pepa that they were taking Bruno to bed and for them to have fun without them. Once inside the room, Y/n began stripping their boyfriend of the clothes he had spilled food and drink on in his drunken state. 

Bruno smirked “S-Should take me to dinner first,” He flirted causing Y/n to blush and gently smack his chest “Oh shut up,” he giggled, shaking their head while taking out some pajamas from the closet. 

Y/n helped Bruno into the pajamas before changing into some pajamas themselves then climbing into bed pulling Bruno close. Bruno wrapped his arms around Y/n burying his face into Y/n’s neck with a grin “I love you,” 

Y/n leaned over blowing out the candle next to their bed before kissing Bruno’s head “I love you too my dear,” There was silence for a while. Y/n figured Bruno had finally succumbed to his drunk slumber. 

“No one has ever made me feel like this before,” Y/n looked down at Bruno the best they could before chuckling “Hm?” Bruno lifted his head staring lovingly at his partner. 

“You make me feel loved and happy,” Bruno slurred, eyes fluttering as he tried to stay awake. 

“Go to sleep love, I’ll see you in the morning,” Y/n whispered while Bruno’s head slowly slumped against their chest.
