Nick’s eyes are green and that the color green encapsulates Jay—almost like the green light does but of course with Nick. The color green has such a chokehold on Jay (because it’s the color of Nick’s eyes) that he’ll often buy green flowers, either dyed roses or carnations or something else that’s green, and he’ll set them around the house just because they remind him of Nick’s eyes. And when Nick comes over, he’ll note Gatsby’s sudden interest in florals and he’ll question why they’re all green. Jay is the type of person to not give a clear answer and instead just giggle and be like, “Well…y’knoooowwww…”

i love seeing best friends goofing around in public. i love seeing couples laughing together. i love seeing little kids walking hand in hand with their parents. i love seeing dogs running happily back to their owners. i love seeing closeness and positive relationships, and knowing all that love is out there

A comic for english class, we had to make a one page comic about a queer theme, so I made something about the struggle of getting dressed when you don’t know how you want to be perceived :’) (I wish we could just go outside naked, it would save me a lot of time in the morning)
