THIS is the interview I've been looking for for AGES. Matt Bellamy playing classical guitar. I am a classical guitarist (as in, that's what most of my formal training has been in) and I NEED to know how he managed to pull off a decent tremolo a). in the cold and b). WITH NO FINGER NAILS. Tremolo is like THE technique you NEED nails for!!! How!?!?!??!

Okay, so they almost all have an element of difficulty to them, but I'd say for beginners the following would probably be doable:

Unintended-mostly just arpeggios with the occasional decoration.

Plug In Baby-the riff is actually quite easy after a bit of practice, and the chorus is just G Bm F#, so as long as you've got the hang of barre chords, you're fine.

Most of the Handler-if you're an absolute beginner, the solo will be out of reach really. But the rest of it will be fine

Map of your Head- simple picking pattern, easy chord shapes. Same sort of idea repeated the whole way through.

Host-again you'll need to have barre chords down but other than that simple enough throughout. The end may be a challenge but it's basically just fast.

Pink Ego Box-simple throughout. Again, some fast picking needed at the end, but its not too hard.

These are probably the only ones off the top of my head I'd recommend for someone who's been playing less than a year or two. That being said, try out whatever and see what works. You know your own skill better than I do.

The site I use for tabs is called songsterr, and it's pretty good, so I'd recommend having a look there. It's got all the songs I mentioned and basically every song ever tbh.
