- admittedly he wants to cry often but stops himself

- I think he cries the most when there is injustice but that’s just my opinion

“I’m sorry for getting us into this.” He mumbled, sitting down on the bed, feeling defeated. You frowned at that, and sat down next to him.

“It’s not your fault. You were just trying to find a place for us.” You said, a sad smile was on his face as he heard your words.

“It is. I’m the one who couldn’t read the print.” He was beating himself up over this.

“It’s okay, Willy. You made a promise to mom, remember? That you would make it here and make her proud? That you would start up your shop?”

He smiled at you and nodded. “You’re right. I promise, I’ll get us out of here and we’ll make her proud.” He held his pinky out, you locked yours with his and smiled at him. That was the Willy you knew.

And so when you were about to drown underneath all the chocolate, he held yours and Noodles hand tightly. He gave you one more small smile before your heads went under.

You were terrified, he was terrified. He made a promise, that he couldn’t fulfill, he felt terrible.

And when you could finally breathe again, he hugged you tighter than you’ve ever imagined, his arms almost crushing you.

“Okay, okay, I can’t breathe!” You rasped out after a while.

“Sorry.” He mumbled, you wiped the chocolate off your face to the best of your abilities.

And when all of the fighting was over, you and Willy had managed to create the perfect shop that’s he’s always dreamed of.

He taught you recipes and his secrets, you and Noodle listened closely as he showed you how he made them.

I’ve Been Having Dreams

Info - pining, practicing with weapons, friends to lovers, sleeping in the same bed, nightmare of death, looking at boobs, mentioning boners

“Hey Pauly,” I said meeting him in the weapons room. I ruffled his hair. I was pretty sure Lady Jessica and I were the only ones allowed to do that to him. We’d been best friends since childhood. Unfortunately, I’d also been in love with him since childhood. I’d brushed it off as a girlie crush I’d get over, but it was anything but. As the years went by it only grew. I had hoped as we got older, he’d start to recognize we were made for one another.

“Hey,” he said solemnly.

“What’s wrong?” I asked him.

“Nothing,” he shook his head but wouldn’t meet my eyes.

“Paul Atreides, you honestly think I don’t know you well enough to believe you?” I demanded, hands on my hips. He turned and finally looked at me. His eyes fluttered briefly to my cleavage, my low cut top making the display more desirable. His ears turned red when he looked at me again.

“I’ve been having dreams,” he whispered.

“Dreams? Like what sort of dreams?” I asked.

“It’s this girl, she‘a kissing me,” he said. “Sometimes I’m following her. The way she says my name sends chills down my spine.”

“Oh, well, that’s not bad is it?” I tried. My heart was sinking fast and I was trying very hard not to cry.

“No, just a bit disturbing, they’re so realistic and they’re reoccurring,” he said, running a hand through his curls. He was devastatingly handsome.

“Come on, let me beat your ass in a sword fight, that’ll cheer you up,” I chuckled.

“Beat my ass, as if, I won last time,” he said but he was smiling and that’s what mattered. We engaged our weirding devices and began. I put all my energy into the battle, determined to impress him. I slashed out too wildly and spun. I jumped over his next lunge. Our blades hit one another over and over as we danced together. Then suddenly he’d knocked my legs out from under me, a dirty move I hadn’t expected. I fell to the ground and he was over top of me.

“I have you,” he growled, sword at my throat.

“Yeah you do,” I said dreamily.

“Huh?” He asked. Fuck, I’d made a mistake, he was just so hot when he was practicing with weapons.

“I meant yeah, good play,” I said, making to get up, and now we were within inches of one another as he’d dropped the blade.

“I win,” he teased. “I should get a reward.”

“Like what?” I asked almost breathlessly.

“A kiss on the cheek sounds nice,” he smirked.

“Oh,” I breathed. I bit my lip. I moved forward and gently placed my lips to his cheek, leaving wetness.

“Thanks,” he said softly. That gave me a hope that was broken pretty quickly as he continued with reports of dreams of a beautiful girl. I was miserable. Apparently the universe had a soulmate in mind for him and it wasn’t me.

One night though, I heard a scream from his room. I didn’t even think twice I was running into his room in just a nightgown.

“Paul, Pauly, are you okay?” I asked as he shook and cried. I cradled him. His wet face was nuzzled into my neck.

“What’s the matter?” I asked. “What happened?”

“The girl, in this dream she, she stabbed me. I know that’s so dumb to cry about, but it was so real,” he said worriedly.

“It’s not real, I promise, you’re here, you’re with me,” I said, petting his hair. We fell into silence.

“At least you won’t wake up with a boner any more since she stabbed you,” I said, making a lame joke.

“What?” He said and he looked disgusted.

“You know since she’s sooooo pretty, I’m sure you were waking up hard,” I said with weak laughter.

“She is, but she really isn’t my type.”

“Oh, that was a dumb joke then. What is your type?” I asked anxiously rambling.

“You,” he replied.

“What?” I asked in shock.

“I’m in love with you,” he said cupping my face.

“Are you still asleep?” I asked.

“No, I’ve been in love with you for years, I’ve been terrified of the dreams because I don’t want anyone but you,” he said, and his thumb caressed my lips.

“Paul, I’ve been in love with you since I was five,” I said desperately.

“Really?” He asked and collapsed backwards with a sigh of relief.

“What?” I asked, leaning over him. He grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me down. He pressed his lips to mine. They were so soft. I smiled into the kiss as I placed my hand on his cheek.

“I have been scared for years you wouldn’t feel the same and I’d have to let my father arrange a marriage for me. I just wanted to be with my girl, my love, my equal, my mate, you, my everything.”

“What if that girl in your dreams is your true match?” I asked worriedly.

“I don’t care, I only want you,” he said. “Stay with me, stay by my side as we sleep.”

“I’d do anything you ask Paul,” I said earnestly. Not much sleep was gotten bthough, we stayed up, talking and kissing until the sun was nearly up. I stayed cuddled in his arms, his completely.
