As you know, you can make writers lives easier by doing unnecessary exposition scenes in real life, thereby making them realistic.

I know this is going to sound hella crazy but I've always had this ... like ... crazy headcanon that the helmets Quarians wear (namely the visors) that they each wear by default coincide with the color of their skin. So Tali's skin is more magenta, Han'Gerrel's skin is more pitch black, Shala'Raan's skin is more of a smokey lavander, so on and so forth. There's just something about the thought of them having diversity in their skin color is neat IMHO. But that's just me. I'm also just ask okay with them not having diversity in terms of skin color, though.
