Ok, so I have been going down the eyeball that is Baldur's gate. And stumbled across the lake that is Bloodbear(Astarion x Halsin). This is inspired by @solmesia hanahaki disease au. So Astarion has fallen in love with Halsin, but Halsin does not know it yet. Astarion assumes he is going to die again because of it. But what if Halsin is further in the process of dying because he doesn't want to hurt Astarion and/or scare him off because he thinks that would hurt more than the rejection of his love. So these two have dodging each other until one of the camp members gets sick of it and sends both of them on a mission together. But Astarion gets hit and is on his death bed again because the hanahaki disease does not let you get healed, so Astarion tells Halsin he loves him.
