The Moreau Manor.

This is part 1 of an ongoing series I'm doing. :D

It was cold. empty and cold. To be fair it was raining outside. But this was a different type of cold, I could feel it in my soul. A dark looming presence that invaded something I used to call home. All the furniture, appliances, and clutter were completely gone. The rooms were locked. Even hers. Granny always said that the house was filled with mysteries, curses, blessings, and even secret rooms. No one believed her of course, I chose not to believe her but something inside me screams that she was telling the truth. I mean.. what other than a curse can cause the tragic calamity that rained and assaulted my family?

I promised. I promised her I would never come back. But when I found out that I inherited this very manor, I couldn't control it. It felt like it was beckoning me to come home. To solve whatever the mystery this house once held was.

When I stepped inside everything was cleared out. The living room, the guest room, and the dining room. All except the kitchen. I don't know whether or not the rooms we used to live in were also cleared out. I'd have to check soon. The kitchen was dirty. Piled high with unwashed dishes, rats scurrying across the floor, Food leftover in the fridge that hasn't been cleaned out since I left. But there were a few letters both hung on the fridge and scattered across the counters.

One read: "Evelynn, please. You cannot keep everyone here. It is best if you let them go and move on. For all our sakes." Signed, Frank. Another said: "Frank. If you have something to say, say it to my face. Do NOT scribble it on a piece of paper before you leave for work. Coward." Signed, Evelynn

My grandmother's name is Evelynn. And Frank is my Uncle. I've lived here for years yet I never realized any tension between them. Could this be after I left? Or perhaps I was just too young to recognize it?

I picked up more letters and decided to decipher my question. "You know I don't have time to stick around. Listen, everyone here is only going to suffer the longer we stay. I know you miss him but it's not worth risking the happiness of our family." Signed, Frank. "You have all the time in the world when you get home. Yet you choose to ignore your family and close yourself off in your room. You have NO RIGHT to judge me when you yourself have never done anything to interact with our family. We are staying. That is final." Signed, Evelynn

The rest of the letters that I found were either burnt or scratched out. As if someone did not want anyone else to read what happened between them.

I pondered for a moment, trying to understand what Uncle Frank meant by 'Everyone is going to suffer the longer we stay.' and 'I know you miss him but it's not worth the happiness of our family.' It didn't make sense, our family was happy here. What could he possibly mean? Does he know something we don't?

My grandmother was always a happy lady. A cheerful force of nature that could brighten everyone's day. So why was she arguing so deeply with Uncle Frank?

It seems I might have to delve a little deeper to uncover the mysteries of this house. Along with the secrets my family might have kept from me.

Levi Rumors HC

So, I’m pretty new to Obey Me (Lesson 11) and this is my first head cannon so take what I say with a grain of salt.

We all know that Levi can sometimes be self conscious or think badly of himself because he’s a “yucky otaku”. But I think that people at RAD actually look up to him since he’s the Grand Admiral of Hell’s Navy. So what they think is about Levi is not what Levi expects.

Imagine a new student enrolled is starting to learn about the brothers

“Hey, why isn’t the third eldest ever present?’

“Oh, it’s because he does online school, he’s our Admiral so he takes up most of his time making battle strategies to keep us safe”

“Really? I thought he just skipped all day!”

“No, he works on strategies for our Navy and cares for Lotan, a 7-headed sea monster. He’s so powerful that too him Lotan’s just a pet! He brought him to our Monster Fair once and it was HUGE.”

“So, he stays up in his room and never comes out? Dang, if he’s Admiral that means that his demon form is probably terrifying. Does he ever come out at all?”

“No, he rarely does, but when he does a crowd surely follows. Rarely do we ever get to see our Admiral so people surely stare and take pictures of him because he probably won’t be seen for another decade!”

“Not only that whenever he does come out we make sure to clear out of his way so the Admiral doesn’t loose anytime. He has a favorite shop he goes to, so on the days demons know the Admiral’s out demons stay clear of those shops!”

While students basically respect Levi, he would take their actions a different way.

If he ever did come out and people started talking or trying to secretly take pictures of him he’d be uncomfortable. Mostly because he’d think they’ve doing it to make fun of him. So that’s why he’d disappear.

Now regarding his favorite shops he would probably go get drinks, food, and of course anything related to anime. While I feel like some demons would strongly like Levi for this and clear out shops so Levi could shop at his heart’s content Levi would just take it as a sign that no one wants to buy this since not everyone is a “yucky otaku” like him.

The fact that he’s probably at those world leaderboards in games probably makes demons like him much more, since not only is he Admiral but he also just likes chilling playing games and is very talented at it too.

“Look! Leviathan is the highest score in this game too!”

“What?! I swear he’s invincible! Played a game with him once and seriously I don’t think I’d ever been happier we won almost instantly! His strategies are seriously good.

That’s our Admiral! No wonder no one wants to stir up trouble with The Devildom, no one could go against Leviathan and his army.

The fact that he plays games probably just makes demons relate to him more

But idk this is just what I think…

I don’t know if this was written correctly but TLDR; Levi is heavily respected by other demons, even though Levi thinks the opposite. I don’t think demons dislike him, I think demons admire him

But again I’m fairly new so if he has been bullied I don’t know so again take what I said w/ a grain of salt :)
