So it turns out the solution for my laptop is to just backup all my stuff and buy a new laptop…the hard drive is basically old AF and dying, so it’s better to get a new one rather than buy new parts and hope that keeps the current one running for another couple years. So yeah, I should be back to my regular writing schedule in a few weeks. Just on a newer, shinier computer 🤣🤣

the most fun thing about being a fic author is when you know what’s supposed to happen but when you go to write it you realise that, for the event to be plausible, you need to add another 2k of development and establish like six extra things before you can even get to the scene you need to write, and by ‘most fun’ I mean fuck everything someone take this fucking story away from me I’m on strike

So every year I try to avoid Lollapolooza and it’s crowds since I live in the general area. I get overheated way too easily, very prone to heat sickness/exhaustion, ticket prices for events scare me, and giant crowds stress me out. The trains get crowded and all I want to do is go home and not be near them on those days.
