reminder that if you’re on a losing streak, it’s okay to step away and take a break, or even take the rest of the night off

persistence and daily effort are key factors in improving your game, but if your losses start affecting your attitude, they’re going to start affecting your performance as well, and you won’t learn anything by slamming yourself against a brick wall. you’re just going to continue to get frustrated, and you won’t be able to focus on why you lost in the first place. eventually, you’re going to burn yourself out
