Ramble incoming Haein just wants to canonically live a normal life outside of the whole ordeal with the gates and her fame when she was a younger athelete, but cant bring herself to do so mostly becuase of how much she wishes to use her power for her own good and how even when she has to do a job, she doesnt see the other kind as an enemy until she is attacked. She has oen of the most purest hearts out there but it sint noticable due to her constant emotionless face and the fact that she is one of the strongests beings out there which already sets her apart from others not only physiscally but emotionally.

And then theres Esil who has no choice but to care for the place she is demanded to protect by a voice she doesnt even know of, and by a king who is so far away se could never grap at what his goals are. She is born in a life so filled with constant bloodshed that it becomes a daily part of her, knowing that if she shows even the slightest of weakness it will be over for her, and she doesnt care to backstab and betray, to kneel or submit to a higher force if she gets to live. She would not choose the glory of death over her life, she will not carve out the path by herself and instead rely on others to help her overcome it because she knows to where her weakness lies.

The thing that scratches my back the most about this ship is that, whereas Haein could have a normal life with someone else (cough jinwoo cough), she could never have that same level of equal power as she would with Esil. Both of them arethe closest to their levels matching, both of them would be comfortable with each other considering how Esil is really interested in human (internet) culture and Haein for the most part has tolerated or found friendships with monsters outside of humans. Esil's world would be a refresh for her to just wind down and be spoiled with every need possible. And Esil could easily go to earth to meet her in order to relax from her noble duties.

Its so interesting to me that esil is also implied to have had a loving family but has since lost it all (rag timeline) whereas haein it is never implied whenever or not she has had a family of her own but we know that those who cared for her wanted to boost her idol success which haein didnt really like. so in the end she only go to have a real family after meeting others like jongin and jinwoo.

And I swear these two would have made me go insane if they met, they are literally even living together only one dimension apart, and yet tey never had a canon interaction. god kew of they would have gotten together they would have been unstopable.

I mean, we can think of this as canon because this is an official game isn’t it? I treat it like canon because it gave so much to work with. Ngl I am kinda into reading these dossiers and everything. Alto it gets confusing from time to time (flashbacks to Alicia’s and Emma’s dossiers) I still enjoy them nonetheless

A while back my pharmacist saw my deadname on my profile and accidentially called it out, he corrected and deleted my deadname from the system so only my preferred name shows up now. There was a crowd of people behind me, so as he hands over the pills he apologized, in equal tone and volume as when he called my deadname and lied saying it's been a long day and he didn't mean to call out -his own- name. I quietly told him it was fine and he didn't need to do that for my sake.

His response: "No, it's my name now."

I went to the pharmacist yesterday, his nametag is my deadname. He informed me he's immigrating and in the process he's changed his first name to my deadname to have an English sounding name. That's why he's now able to get a reprint of his nametag to be my deadname. And repeated, with the intense seriousness of someone who is going to die on this hill: "It's mine now. Not yours. I'm taking." His tone indicated that decision is final.

Bro literally deadnamed me once, and has committed to flat out stealing my deadname. It's his now. Legally. Officially. I over heard his co-workers call him by the name.

The number of times I have been delighted by witty banter only to find out later that I was “Flirting” is both unfortunate and disappointing.

Suho in the Dragon Monarch! Haein AU headcanons (plus Solo Leveling Ragnarok Spoilers)

-Suho having both dragon elders and shadow commanders as nannies. Bellion and the Dragon Priest do agree on making Suho grow up to be strong and yet beru is out there spoiling the boy rotten when he can't do anything. Although everyone still applouds the boy for doing the bare minimum. If it wasnt for the overly tired parents (monarhcs) then the shadows and dragons would have instantly thrown a party for Suho when he started to walk for the first time

-While most of the demon nobles, dragon elders and shadow commanders love Suho, none of them -obviously-- know how to take care of such a fragile little thing, which is why they are appy for every thing he does. They think he will break like glass everytime, and to some extent haein and jinwoo thought that might be tha case as well because they dont know just how much human genes they passed over to Suho and how much of the dark/light fragmaents had passed on him. He was so sick as a baby that even the Rulers had to stop by to chceck if there was anything wrong with him, thankfully there wasnt and Suho could grow up like any other boy, still the worries lingered.

-Suho had a childhood friend dragon, it was the same age as him, and would one day grow up to take on priestly duties while Suho completely forgot about the memories they made.

-Suho likes to draw ants and feathery dragons because the only dragons Haein allowed to touch Suho were those who had soft feathres or looked more friendly on the outside. Suho wasnt scared of any dragon though, only his mom when she got mad.

-Upon meeting his shadows again he started to get his memories back of the dragons that taught him to fly.

-Suho developed horns and scles early on in his childhood. Haein gave him a bracelet which would help hide the transformation for when the time was right. After his parent's dissapearance Suho would touch his braelet as if trying to reach out for his mother and father to come back.

-His horns and wings began to develop again as he leveled up, in his fight with Antares he finally achieved his dragon form, stil it was nothing compared to Antares. Also what a great way to meet your grandpa! Because Suho was his grandson he took the pact even more seriously,, though, unlike canon, he didnt want to come back alive becausehe was still healing with Ashborn in the land of the death. After pasing is throne to Haein he had decided to focus on his soul as a dragon instead of a Monarch. Still, he and Ashborn are very much ineterested to see Suho's growth from the other side, often snikering with the other monarchs watching the drama unfold.

"My grandson decided to become a Monarch of Destruction HAHAHAHA >:DDDD" Antares very much likes stiking that to jinwoo meanwhile Ashborn is like "Sure Antares now its time to get back to the ocean."

Jiwoo's last words being like "Suho I owe your mom 20 thousand won now ask jinchul to pay it ill pay him later-"

-Ryo touching Suho's new dragon horns and his fluffly hair,( I like to think it gets somewhat blonde when he uses dragon powers too much.) absolutely self indulging here---

-Jinchul and Esil playing hot potato with Suho because he can somehow control the heat around him WHY DID THEY AGREE TO BABYSIT-

I really love how different Suho is from his dad; it makes it even clearer that the original was a serious depiction of trauma as opposed to just being edgy as possible. I always knew that, but I know a lot of critique of Solo Levelling was about Jin Woo being more of a power fantasy than a character.

Suho is nothing like his dad, even though they look alike. He's more reckless, less slow to anger, and he respects human life very deeply. But, you know, he's also not raising a sibling while paying for his mother's treatment. He hasn't been betrayed, or seen dozens die in front of him. It's fascinating to see the difference in how he accepts his powers. I wonder how his trauma around being abandoned, both (unwillingly) by his parents and society will inform his journey. Also his art skills? Jin Woo never had a marketable skill outside of hunting, so I would love to see Suho's art play an important role in the narrative.

Maybe that has something to do with the way he can change a shadow's form more casually than his dad could?

Haein being so nice to magic beasts is so funny to me cuz girl what you doing taking care the beasts that outright caused an apocalypse off our world many times, girl what you doing protecting the sucessors of your husband's killer, girl what you doing fighting for beings you only just met and instantly decided to take care of, slay tbh Suho really got all the good shit from you.
