Oh, boi. Expectations.😰 Jk, jk~ No worries about the rules! Thanks for taking the time to list 'em again! :D If it's okay and not too specific I wanted to request a scenario for a newly made shinobi of konoha (coming from another village) who'd briefly met the konoha 11 after helping Lee and Sakura during the disaster-scroll-part of the Chunin exams, but immediately absconded after the dust settled down, only reappearing after the Chunin exams to leave daily gifts in Lee's hospital room while he's unconcious. Perhaps after catching some feels for the reckless dork? :3c I just love the idea of a mischevious, basheful kid climbing in through the window of the hospital like a gremlin, just to leave flowers, teddy bears and sweets, all while thinking they're being smooth and super discreet, like some secret admmirersupporter Because 1) Lee needed more love during those trying times 2) it'd be hilarious if the reader ran into Sakura at some point and just poker faced "Get-well gifts." like that'd even begin to answer half her questions, but then just settled in this weird "let's-ignore-the-elephant-in-the-room"-not-unpleasant-aquaintenanceship over caring about Lee 3) the overall, comical, cat-and-mouse thing that'd be going on while Lee start to actually try to catch the reader, not to mention meet them. And 4) The actual catching of the reader, red-handed and red-faced, and the ensuing chaos in them trying to deny the whole thing while attempting another abscond, but not being allowed to.

Rock Lee x Reader

“Hey, you there.” You spoke calmly, sounding just as collected as you looked. You were relaxed during a battle, never had Lee seen such a sight. You showed no sign of haste, bloodlust, or nervousness. You just seemed at ease.

You began to approach the sound ninja, swinging a kunai on your finger. One of the sound ninja attempted to pin you down, but were quickly thrown down by their arm with a strange grace. A loud snap filled the air of the clearing amongst the trees. The snap belonged to the sound ninja’s arm, the one you’d been holding.

Oops. You’d done it again.

Lee was baffled at the sight of you shrugging. Only now did he notice the headband that displayed a Hidden Leaf symbol. He didn’t recognize you. You didn’t dress the part for a Leaf villager. No, in fact, he couldn’t figure out which village dressed like you, but he knows he’s seen the fashion.

You had discarded the one shinobi before a boy named Sasuke, to your knowledge, had woken up to take the rest.

You then disappeared faster than you appeared. Lee hadn’t seen you then, but he wondered where you came from and where you had gone.

It wasn’t until he was in a hospital bed after his fatal match with Gaara of the sand that you had reappeared in Konoha. However it took until Sakura had seen you sneaking in to give him gifts at the same time she was bringing flowers.

You had frozen in the window, legs pausing their motion of swinging over into the room.

Sakura for a moment had gotten protective over Lee has she didn’t recognize you. She moved to pull a kunai to be sure you couldn’t hurt Lee. You simply shook your head at her, holding up the get well gifts in your hand. You pushed yourself off the window, feet slamming down onto the tile as you landed. You brushed yourself off before setting down a basket of snacks and a get well card.

“Who are you?”

You only shook your head at her question, climbing up onto the windowsill again, swinging out of it. You braced for the impact of landing on the ground, then casually walked away. Yet Sakura found she couldn’t find you after only a few moments of you appearing to leisurely walk.

“What does that girl want with Lee?” She muttered.

But again and again, Sakura found herself fearing what you wanted. So she spent time trying to catch you, looking to the window daily around the same times. She came out day by day, rushing in, only to find the window open and gifts out.

Soon enough she consulted Naruto about it. Now the two of them take turns coming to see Lee in attempt to catch you red handed.

Until one day they both finally do catch you. You were currently standing beside his hospital bed.

“Can’t you tell I haven’t hurt him?” You chuckled. Sakura nodded.

“Well yes, but we haven’t given you the time to.” Sakura hesitantly answered. You just shook your head, setting down the gifts and heading for the window. Only to have Sakura grab your wrist and hold you still.

“What do you want with Rock Lee?” She gritted her teeth.

“Nothing of your concern.”

“Answer me!” Sakura shouted, her grip on your wrist tightening.

“Lee to wake up.” You quietly answered. Her grip loosened in shock enough for you to back out the window.

“That was her?” Naruto asked once she was gone.

“Yes, she’s so strange.” Sakura muttered, backing away from the window.

“Rock Lee is awake.” You smiled to yourself as you whispered it, sneaking out to see him working out though he shouldn’t be.

“You shouldn’t be doing that.” You spoke.

Lee’s head shot up, meeting your eyes. He gasped slightly, “it’s you!”

“Hi.” You gave a simple response, a smile grazing your features. “I’m glad to see you’re awake. Now take me out on a date.”

“Huh? I-I mean sure! Of course! I’d be happy to!”

Inspired by the way my mother asked my father out. She didn’t ask. She demanded he pick her up at 8. They’ve been together since.

🍂 Apparently people liked my Lee design (and I do too) so I drew more of him ! And he even has a little equipment list !

This is an aged up Rock Lee (twenties and more) I made to restore his honour and forget about what Boruto did to him :V

I think he would eventually become his own person. Although Gai’s influence was important for his growth,  I believe it would lead him to become independent rather than staying at the ‘OMG GAI-SENSEI I shall be just like you ! ’all his life…

AND GAI IS SO PROUD OF HIM FOR BLOSSOMING INTO HIS OWN YOUTHFUL INDIVIDUALITY.

There are 3 versions ! I’m currently liking the 1st one the most, but do tell your favorite one in the replies !

🍂 Additional infos :

- The haori (vest) was a gift from Tenten. She put her own fuinjustu  on the interior of it. It works with blood instead of chakra so Lee can invoke some weapons during combats (he just need to make him thumb bleed and put it on the writings)~

- He obviously kept the jumpsuit since it actually super comfortable and breathable. He dyed it himself in his bathtub which is still stained to this day.
