A wide panel redraw of the Kakuzu fight. Kakashi is exhausted, and looking worse for wear, his mask torn, his face bruised, and his hitai-ate missing. Yamato, who just arrived, is unscathed, and pulling his hands into position to repress the chakra of the nine-tailed fox.

“Wow senpai, you look like shit.” Yamato says, smiling a little, but some concern apparent in his face.

Kakashi doesn’t quite manage to look back at him, turning his head just slightly in acknowledgement. “…Thanks, Tenzō.”

An elipses indicates yet more time passing.

Yamato holds a glass up to his lips, looking curiously to the side, where Kakashi leans on him exaggeratedly, his single eye and eyebrow forlorn. “Ahh, Tenzō,” he begins, “What ever happened to my adorable kohai—who was too nervous to be rude.”

Yamato smiles, and puts down his glass. “He grew a spine!” Yamato returns. Then, turning to Kakashi with a wide and happy expression, he continues, “Besides, you’re having more fun with me like this.”

Kakashi leans back into his own space. “Hehe, true.” 

“And I like myself more like this too.” Yamato says.

Tenzo learned a basic water move that is meant for fighting, but he just... Uses it to water his plants.

lower the chakra useage by 90%, decrease the tension, direct pointer finger at ur favorite plant, and there u have it!

So someone mentioned that the lemon drink reigen drank in the pic is nonalcoholic. This means reigen developed a pavlovian reaction to lemon drinks!! I dunno if that’s sad or concerning or both.

Me, first seeing the official art: Aha dummy. Reigen’s drunk when he’s not even drinking an alcoholic beverage lmao :)

Me, realizing that Reigen’s either allergic to lemons which causes his face to flush, or is so used to drinking alcoholic lemon drinks that his body subconsciously responds to it and forces him to have alcoholic reactions: 

fluff time: mob used to draw for reigen a lot. he'd bring all of his drawings or just draw in between the clients. reigen still has them in a safe box under his bed

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 

MOB AS A TEN-YEAR-OLD KID RUNNING OVER TO SHISHOU’S OFFICE, HOLDING HIS ART HE MADE IN CLASS. I’m totally sure it’d happen after three or four months of knowing each other, since children bond so quickly with people and Reigen really starting to warm up to him. And it’s random, it totally wasn’t expected, but at one moment Reigen’s staring blearily at his computer screen, the ache setting in at the back of his eyes, and then he hears a little slide of paper. He looks over to see Mob’s eyes peek over the desk, black hair drooping over his eyebrows, and his little hand touching a little sheet of paper with scribbles on it. Reigen picks it up and squints at it; it has lots of swirls, lots of greens and oranges and pinks, and a little form that, after a few moments of deliberation, looks like a person in a grey suit with a pink tie and a crooked smile with thick black crayon. He looks to Mob for answers.

“For you,” Mob says. “We drew it in class.” 

And it clicks for Reigen–the person in the grey suit is him–and a little something gets warm in his chest. It’s not big, it’s not explosive, but it’s a little flame, and Reigen knows this is the beginning of the end of his “heartless” facade. 

It happens infrequently, but he gets them. There’s no expected time, but there’s always a hint, right when Mob puts his bag down in Reigen’s office and does this little pause, this thoughtful gnawing at the cheek, and then he’s rustling inside his backpack and pulls out a little sheet. They all variate, some blues, some reds, but often with Reigen and Mob sitting together, still in that crooked smile.

Fucking hell, I’m 99% sure he has them pinned all around his house and office. He pinned them where he has some of the client photos. He keeps others taped to his fridge at home, not because he was particularly planning on it, but it just seemed like a proper thing to do. 

I’ll laugh if anyone stops by his office or home, sees the drawings, and goes, “You have kids?”

Queue Reigen taking the longest ass time trying to answer the question, with lots of stutters and coughs in between.
