Is There Still Time For Another Mermay Picture?I Should Probably Admit I Drew This Last Year, It Was
Is there still time for another Mermay picture? I should probably admit I drew this last year, it was a birthday card for a friend who likes mermaids and ocean imagery. (Although she’s also one of the only people I know who can’t swim.) I love drawing the ‘white horses’ on waves.

Inktober 2017 : Day 28 - brush pen and ink wash Louise’s home also plays host to a slightly alarming type of house fairy called Lob-Lie-By-The-Fire. He looks a bit frightening, but he’s like any other house fairy, he just wants to sit by your fire and help you with the washing up.
I’m still just very, very happy that Hōzuki no Reitetsu got a second series. I love the Zashiki Warashi’s creepy monotone laugh and their blatant favouritism.
I make a lot of hardback notebooks, and I have finally remembered to actually put them for sale somewhere! I now have new A6 and A7 hardback books available in my shop. I’ve also learned to attach ribbon bookmarks since the last set. All of them are plain sketching paper, and I ship them with guidelines in case you’re like me and can’t write straight without them. I hope they go down as well as the previous batch! https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/sarahfogg?section_id=13856530
Inktober 2017 : Day 21 - fineliner and felt tip Eventually the school agreed that Nettle should just sit out of P.E. lessons.
A picture I did for @niuniente of her webcomic character Fuzzy, for her birthday a couple of months ago. I sent her the original so I didn’t want to post a scan until I knew it had arrived. I love drawing characters who are always in silhouette, it’s a challenge to make sure it reads correctly once the black is filled in. Fuzzy is a mysterious creature who lives in a temple, where a professional Seer named Irene tries to stay on top of her work while various magical forces try to entangle her and her shadowy guest in strange and opaque schemes. The webcomic runs on webtoons and tumblr if that sounds like your cup of tea!
