I still can’t get over the fact that they really did BTS like that, the western world will NEVER come close to the artistry, profound, and deep bond BTS have, in their songs, their albums, NOBODY will come close to that but because they aren’t white men that speak English I’m not surprised they didn’t win. I enjoyed watching Grammys stream drop over half their views within minutes after they announced it wasn’t BTS
Anyways I’m gonna enjoy the shit storm on Twitter while finishing tease the Grammys can go royally fuck themselves 🤷♀️
Seriously, I used to believe Grammy’s were big awards but after this year, with everything that happens with the nominations and now with the way they present the categories..and and and…
BTS doesn’t need a fucking grammy to prove who they are! I know they want it! I want them to win too!I know the tradition and the meanign behind a grammy… But all this sh*t behind Grammy’s makes (imo) the award worthless! For me, They are the winners! They worked so hard all these years! And if we focus only on 2020.. They gave us so many incredible performances, from the late late show, to the tonight show to the MMA, to tiny desk.. to DYNAMITE which had so many stages but all of them had their own unique touch!
They made many people respect them and mostly they made us stay with them! Us being here all this time means that they won us with something..and that is their talent, their hard work, their music, their message, their kindness..their passion for what they are doing! They lost an award but they have won millions of hearts! All I want them is to be happy, healthy and life goes on…not a grammy? okay but maybe something even bigger and greater comes to their path and I want to ask all of you to just follow and continue supporting them like you do now! Dont be disappointed! Life goes on! After all ,we have them, they have us!

Apparently a lot of people get dialogue punctuation wrong despite having an otherwise solid grasp of grammar, possibly because they’re used to writing essays rather than prose. I don’t wanna be the asshole who complains about writing errors and then doesn’t offer to help, so here are the basics summarized as simply as I could manage on my phone (“dialogue tag” just refers to phrases like “he said,” “she whispered,” “they asked”):
“For most dialogue, use a comma after the sentence and don’t capitalize the next word after the quotation mark,” she said.
“But what if you’re using a question mark rather than a period?” they asked.
“When using a dialogue tag, you never capitalize the word after the quotation mark unless it’s a proper noun!” she snapped.
“When breaking up a single sentence with a dialogue tag,” she said, “use commas.”
“This is a single sentence,” she said. “Now, this is a second stand-alone sentence, so there’s no comma after ‘she said.’”
“There’s no dialogue tag after this sentence, so end it with a period rather than a comma.” She frowned, suddenly concerned that the entire post was as unasked for as it was sanctimonious.
