(Ramble) I'm not a fan of Ranpo having green eyes when in the manga illustrations they are brown

In addition to the fact that the green color in Ranpo's eyes seems weird and out of place to me, maybe a artistic decision by BONES to highlight the "color" of his "ability" you know, to highlight the color of the characters' abilities (since in the manga they technically dont have color) but we all know Ranpo doesn't have one... It just makes me think that the scene in chapter 4 only happens in his head?

Or are the abilities physically visible like the rest of the characters to the audience? Or only people with special abilities can see them? I'm rambling sorry

Where I want to go is that I have the idea that those people with abilities have striking eye colors, see Atsushi, Chuuya, Yosano or Fukuzawa... And the fact that Ranpo has them seems out of place to me.... As I said, is possible it's just an artistic decision by BONES to highlight abilities and personally I'm more of a fan of Harukawa's work in the manga series and of course the anime creation must have been supervised by Asagiri and Harukawa themselves . It just more accurate and interesting to me for Ranpo keeping an usual eye color in his design bc that highlights the normality in his nature, just a normal guy with no special abilities, but who has a lot to offer and can work and compete with them even (bc Id love for the manga to work better on the interaction between common people with ability users but that's a ramble for another day) So yeah, that's why you'll see art of Ranpo of mine with brown eyes, for this silly HC that I've over explained here... It's an idea that's been rolling around in my head for years and I was thinking of sharing it and I'd like to know if someone else shared this HC haha

They're just all mutually like "Oh he did XYZ? Cool."

Poe canonically asked Lovecraft for advice on a novel and Lovecraft told him to destroy the world, absolutely hilarious, and I also I feel as though it implies Poe really respects Lovecraft to ask for writing advice. Especially considering Lovecraft doesn’t write.
