So Boochan started training under Pledis almost at the same time. They actually met at a train station in Seoul when both of them had no idea that they were gonna see each other again. They both have said that they wanted to be friends with each other back at the train station itself but didn't get the chance. But then, imagine their surprise when they figured out they were training together and would debut together? Funny, right? So Boochan are actually very similar to each other. They complete each other. But, in their words, they have some very obvious differences that cause them to "fight" but everyone knows they're not actually fighting. So Chan was a good dancer even before he joined Pledis because of his dancer parents and Seungkwan was already a good singer. So they both helped each other with what the other didn't know. Boochan's dance styles are very similar (check out their danceology together) because Chan basically taught Seungkwan how to do dance. And Chan was very insecure about his singing back during his trainee days and Seungkwan helped him gain his confidence. There's also an iconic story where Chan asked Seungkwan to recommend him an easy song to sing for a monthly evaluation and Seungkwan gave him a groovy song that was VERY deep for Chan's voice. And Chan ended up getting scolded for it 😭😭. Boochan bring that up ALL the time! They also have the most unique relationship. I absolutely hate it when they're relationship is called "love-hate" or "frenemies" or "siblings" because they're not! Their "fights" have so much underlying love in them, and they've literally said that they think they're soulmates so yeah. There's also the WAIT promotion moment. So when Chan was promoting WAIT, Seungkwan sent him a coffee truck at 4AM to support him. The truck had "my heart's favourite" written at the very top and the back had a love song's lyrics but modified to fit Boochan's relationship. There were 3 drinks, one was americanos, another one was tangerine tea and the third was some other kind of tea that Chan loves. Chan literally calls Seungkwan "coffee truck friend" sometimes because he was so touched. Seungkwan and Chan also drink together frequently and it's so adorable! There's a funny story that Jeonghan used to ask both Chan and Seungkwan to drink with him and they would both deny, saying they didn't wanna get drunk and then eventually, Jeonghan would find both of them drinking together 😭. There's also the snowfall date where Boochan get drunk, drinking wine and having deep conversations and then the next morning, go out together to see the first snowfall of South Korea. I believe Chan even used the tag Boochan/Chanboo while posting the video. But yeah, that's Boochan for ya! I love them, I think that's obvious. They're the definition of soulmates to me.

Okayyyyy, so if I'm super late I AM SO SORRY 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭. I've been soooo busy lately with exams and all, so I'm really sorry. I'm so happy you keep me updated on your Carat journey, I love hearing abt it, lol 😭🩷.

1) I'm the biggest dinonara you know? 😭😭😭 I'm so HAPPYYYYYY (I have always wanted to be a dinonara representative for someone, lol 🥹). But yeah, I can tell you a lot about him, lmaooo. Okiee, one thing I really love about him is how well he adapted to Seventeen. You might know this but he's the oldest in his own family and the youngest in Seventeen. Now, being the oldest of my own family, it's really hard for the elder sibling to act cute or idk adapt to having 12 older members all of a sudden (especially because the older members are Seventeen and we all know how much they LOVE to tease Dino/Chan). But Chan adapted really well to this. He takes everything in stride and never lets it hurt his confidence and I love that about him. I also love how full of love he is. He laughs at everything, literally speaks all 5 love languages and he's just so full of love. Like, his happiness and love is literally contagious, like he has the ability to change a tense situation to a lighter and fun one by just being himself and I LOVE that about him. The most important one is probably his work ethic. Dino is a perfectionist to the core. Like, he works so fucking hard on his skills as an idol and he NEVER stops improving, it's insane. His skills have literally never stopped improving and he's grown so much since his debut and that's all because of how determined he is to do his best till the very end. I absolutely love that about him, it's so inspiring. Like he has done tours while suffering from enteritis, has worked while sick multiple times, he literally says that he can't look at himself in the mirror while dancing because all he can see are the things he needs to work on. Yes, he is extreme and I want him to understand that he is already doing his best but his attitude is so rare and that's why I love it. These are a few things, feel free to ask me for more!!

2) OMGGGG YOU LISTENED TO THE OLDER ALBUMS?! I LOVE those albums so much!! Going Seventeen (the album lmao) is a literal legend, it's so perfect. Ugh, You Make My Dawn is also amazing too! Woozi has been making masterpieces since debut I'm afraid 🥹😭. I love all the older albums omggg! (And yes Love&Letter is such a hit omgggg). Also, did you survive Good To Me and Fast Pace? 1) OMGGG I will GLADLY tell you more about Dino. Okayyy so you know about BSS right? (BooSeokSoon, the gag trio basically consisting of Seungkwan, Hoshi and Dk). And I think that Dino should become an official part of it. Why? Because he's so damn funny! Like Dino is one of the most self-assured members and this allows him to crack jokes without being embarrassed and this has led to a lot of HILARIOUS moments. Some examples: He was supposed to be learning English in a GOSE episode and he had to do a skit about having ripped a pair of pants without paying for them and his first response was literally "omg! look at my fit!!" Like Vernon was playing the store owner and here's Dino ending the conversation because Vernon said he looked good 🤣😭. Okay, next, Dino's laugh is literally Carat's therapy. There are actual 15-20 min compilations of his laugh because it is adorable 😭. It is literally one of my favourite sounds like it gives you so much serotonin it's insane. Another thing, Dino almost always has no idea what's going on during mind games 😭😭. Like he tries sooo hard but baby's just sitting there zoning out it's hilarious. And him having no idea what's going on is absolutely hilarious to his hyungs and to carats. Oh yeah, you have got to know about Pi Cheolin. So Pi Cheolin comes from the word "featuring" bcuz Pi Cheolin is like an old man from a village who is always "featuring" in other ppl's business. Genius right?! So this character started out as a Caratland skit, then it became part of a GOSE episode. Carats loved that episode so they brought him back in the GOM comeback special (you need to watch that, it's insanely good!) And he also surprise-featured in a BSS performance in the GDAs surprising EVERYONE there, it was hilarious. So Pi Cheolin is literally like the most successful GOSE character mainly bcuz Chan is an amazing actor. Some more lovable facts: Chan is willing to do anything for his hyungs, like he's scared of animals even now though he was more scared back then but he still accompanied his hyungs to a cat cafe, despite being scared. He's a very emotional/sentimental guy and he loves deep conversations a lot (love language is quality time as you can clearly see 😭), he loves doing big gestures for ppl that have emotional value but not in front of other ppl (like he loves private time with his loved ones as well and doesn't like to do things for show). This leads me on to one of the most iconic moments of last year. You know Boochan right? Seungkwan and Chan's ship name? So last year, on Seungkwan's birthday, Chan was in Paris with Jeonghan and he bought Seungkwan a pair of high-top sneakers (bcuz Seungkwan had hurt his ankle back in 2019? and Chan wanted to protect it). But Seungkwan doesn't wear high tops at all and so he said on a radio show that Chan got him something he won't wear. This hurt Chan who was still in Paris and Jeonghan comforted him (you see how serious privacy is to Chan now?). Then on Chan's birthday, Seungkwan kept saying he's bought him something amazing on live shows and told him to look forward to it. But on the day of his birthday, Seungkwan hadn't actually bought him anything. But he still kept bringing up that he had bought smth and again, this hurt Chan badly. Like his stance was, if Seungkwan hadn't bought it, why would he keep telling him to look forward to it? Is he just a member to show off for the cameras? 😭😭 baby was so hurt 😭😭. And so both Seungkwan and Chan go to Jeonghan (svt's mediator), Seungkwan crying and Chan badly drunk and crying too. And eventually Seungkwan bought him an expensive jacket and they made up. And this year, Seungkwan bought Chan smth but he didn't mention it to ANYONE (to prove that it was not for show) and since then, Seungkwan has gotten way more affectionate and soft with Chan. Like earlier, Seungkwan was kind of fiesty with him but now he's also very soft and it's adorable. As you can see, I LOVE Boochan!!!

2) OMGGGG you need to listen to Jun's solos. They are so versatile and so diverse!! Also, check out The8's contemporary art for falling down. Both the song and the contemporary dance was made by him and it's BEAUTIFUL. Also, ofc, check out Dino's wait! It's literally so iconic! And if you wanna cry 😭😭 listen to dandelion by Seungkwan. It is especially depressing if you know what it's about (Moonbin's passing) and it's so fucking emotional omggg. I'm soooo glad you're enjoying all the solos!!
