So yesterday my phone broke and at first it didn’t bother me bc it looked useable but it’s just getting worse and I would upload part 7 of Stranger but the flickering of the phone triggers my migraines and so I’ll be going on a temporary hiatus for now until I get a new phone. Idk when I’ll be getting the phone but I’m not dead if you don’t hear from me, I’m just on a break🙏🏼 I hope you all understand the delay❤️

Summary: you come home from a vacation to a random stranger in your bed, or maybe he isn't so much of a stranger after all...

Warnings: swearing (mostly f! reader lol sos), a lil but of angst & mental health mentions, hella serious anger issues(f! reader), mentions of sexual activity, very much kissing, mentions of food/pics of food:)

You and Vernon finally arrive at Mingyu and Wonwoo’s place. You hop excitedly into the apartments complex. You see Mingyu waiting near the front desk for yu and Vernon.

It’s been a good few weeks since you’ve seen him. “Have you gotten a hair cut?” You ask him. He nods happily, amazed that you even noticed. “Yes I did, hello to you too.” He pulls you into a big bear hug, he motions Vernon to join but he just shakes his head.

After a minute or two, all three of you make your way to Mingyus apartment. When you’re inside, you see that it’s a fairly nice and neat place. But that how Mingyu always is you guess.

Wonwoos greeting snaps you out of your mini trance, as you greet him back you pull him into a hug and after he shakes Vernons hand.

You, Vernon and Wonwoo sit down at the table as Mingyu finishes the food. “So how have you been, yn?” Wonwoo asks, a gummy smile sitting on his face. You nod, “I’ve been better, loads better since I arrived.”

He nods, “Yes, I’m glad you’re back, it was so quiet without you around all the time. I missed you a lot, so did Mingyu. Minghao even complained about missing you so much when we hung out.” You both laugh. “I’m glad you missed me, I’m glad to be back.”

“Will you be coming back to college?” He asks, almost hesitantly. But it doesn’t take you more than 3 seconds to answer, “Not at the moment, I spoke to the Dean and he just said to wait till this year is finished since it’s almost done and just rejoin next year.” Wonwoo nods once again. “Good, can’t wait for you to come back.”

Finally, food is finished and all four of you are digging in. “Minghao said you haven’t seen the others yet, we’re having a get together next week at some point you should come, the guys would be happy to see you again.” Mingyu perks up.

You nod, “Yeah, I’ve just been getting back on track these past few weeks, I would love to join you and see the others.” Mingyu sends a big smile over to you, and you return it. You turn to Vernon, who was sat beside you quietly, “Are you coming too?” You ask him. He shrugs, “I’m not sure yet.”

You pout, “I think you should,” You tell him. Vernon looks into your eyes, rolls his own with a sigh and says, “Fine.” A big smile overtakes your face happy that he agreed.

After a few more hours of more catching up, talking, more talking, even more talking, and finally more talking it’s time for you and Vernon to go home. You all bud your goodbyes and try your best to pry Mingyu off you as he was clinging onto you. Wonwoon was finally able to drag him off and bid a last goodbye.

On your drive home, you stop at a red light and look over at Vernon who was looking out the window, deep in thought. You turn your attention to the light as it turns green and start driving again. “Are you okay?” You ask. You can feel Vernon look at you, “Yeah, just tired.” He says almost too quietly.

You frown in concern and decided you would wait till you are home to talk to him. Unfortunately, the second you stepped through your front door, Vernon was already making his way to his room.

You sigh, worried about him.
