You stumble through the front door of your small apartment, head spinning, humming a song from the club- you double check your purse as you hang it up, “phone, keys, card. cool.” Your heels find two separate homes on the kitchen floor, your dress lay on the couch, and your bra somewhere in between there and the bedroom.

The bedroom door creaked, the mountain of a man in the bed stirred every so slightly but his breaths still calm and steady. The blanket is bunched up around his waist, you take a second to admire his physique in the low light filtering through the curtains. Pale shadows cast all over his body from the dips and valleys of his muscles, his massive arms outstretched on top of the pillows.

Losing your balance pulled you from your thoughts, you stumble around the bed and as you grab the sheets to crawl in you’re met with a muscular arm wrapping around your waist pulling you into their owner. A yelp escaped your lips at the sudden movement.

“mmm, welcome home mamas. y’have fun?” Toij’s voice is gravelly, his arm pulls your frame closer, hand rests on your plushy tummy drawing patterns with his thumb.

“mhmm,” you nod, “hope I didn’t wake you, baby. ‘m a lil’ drunk.” the words slur by coming out of your mouth.

“You did, but s’okay wanted to know when ya got home. S’worried about ya. Late night, even for you.” he chuckles placing chaste kisses on your shoulder.

“‘m sorry, Toj’.” you roll over and place a kiss on his cheek. He rewards you with a half grin, light pink scar at the corner of his mouth visible now that your eyes have had time to adjust.

“s’okay baby, really.” He pulls your leg over his hip and traps you against his broad chest. Your head resting in the crook of his neck, his pulse can be felt by your soft lips, the musky smell of his body wash fills your nostrils. A strong hand runs through your unruly hair, down your back, stopping at your ass cheek pulling you into him even further. Closer. He needed you closer. Toji was always so needy for your touch. “So soft,” he hums grabbing a handful of the supple skin. From your ass to your knee and back, his hardened and calloused hand pulls at the soft skin of your thigh.

You take a deep breath and relax into his embrace, feeling his hands roam aimlessly around your body. Your eyelids become heavy and your breath finds a slow and steady rhythm, sleep is inevitable at this point.

That’s when it hit you.

“Toji, bathroom. Now!”

Understanding what was going on, he quickly let go. You immediately rolled off the bed in one swift motion, running for the bathroom.

For once you were happy he left the toilet seat up, because if not you wouldn’t have made it. You retch, your stomach feels better but you still have that funny feeling in your jaw. You groan into the toilet. This is why you don’t drink.

Toji came stumbling in behind you, boxers hanging lazily off his hips and his hair a mess. He snickers a little seeing you on your knees, all but naked, head hanging in the toilet bowl along with your hair. Noticing, he grabbed a hairband from the sink and threw your hair up in a sloppy bun, carefully running his fingers along your scalp while doing so.

“Damn, girl you really can’t hold your liquor can you?” He chuckles at the thought of you doing shot after shot to keep up with your friends even though you know you can’t. You reply with a groan and a middle finger not bothering to lift your head.

He plopped down between you and the bathtub and rubs your back easing the feeling in your stomach slightly.

“You okay though, mamas?” he said placing a kiss on the back of your head admiring his handiwork with your hair.

“Yeah,” you all but gagged “I’ll be fine, jus’ hate this feeling.”

Talking was making your stomach do flips. You gestured towards your hair and gave him a thumbs up, rubbing his arm in thanks. Your actions pulled a laugh from his lips. The tile floor was cold on your legs, your body involuntarily shivering and breaking out in goosebumps. Toji stood and pulled one of his t-shirts out of the clothes dryer in the closet behind you.

“Arms up,” he instructed, once again occupying his spot next to you. You comply, slowly raising your arms so as not to disturb your stomach any more than you had to. He pulled his shirt gently over your head, patiently holding it for you to put your arms in the sleeves. It was warm and soft and gave you butterflies.

It wasn’t butterflies. You retched one more time, leaving your head hang for a minute to make sure you were done. The tub faucet turns on breaking the silence and your face is met with a warm washcloth, wiping the drool off your chin. Toji’s hands never stopped their soothing tracks across your back. Fingertips brush the baby hairs at the nape of your neck every so often and send shivers down your spine. After what feels like hours you sit up and lean into Toji’s chest, hands snaking around his abdomen. Both your bodies relax at the touch.

“Feel better now, mamas? Get it all out? or do we need to stay for a bit?”

“mhmm, tummy feels better. C’n we stay f’r a bit? ’m comfy.” you giggle, sarcastically burying your head into his chest. Toji chuckles, shifting on the bath mat to get more comfortable.

“Sure thing, doll. Backs gonna be fucked, but s’worth the grade A cuddles you’re givin’ me right now.” The hand on your back stops momentarily to readjust your position slightly. There’s a moment of silence, the beat of Toji’s heart strong and steady to your ear. Your head follows his chest as it rises and falls with each breath.

“Toj’?”

“S’up, mamas?”

“Thank you, I love you” snuggling into him even more, placing a kiss on his neck.

“I love you too, y/n”

You both stayed in this position until well after you fell asleep. Toji watched your chest fall and rise with each breath, the way your hair was falling around your face, how your tiny body looked even smaller in his shirt. He loved the way you would make little sounds in your sleep, your arms squeezing him every now and again, your eyelashes falling against your mascara-stained cheeks. Noticing the sun was starting to make its appearance for the day, he planted one last kiss on your forehead before ever so gently picking you up and taking you back to bed.
