Eyes narrow and his hand clenches to his sword. The mention of Punk Hazard causing pinpricks to crawl up his spine, and his jaw to clench. Sharp breaths, shaky and hot, but each intake was like ice in his lungs. Anger boiled and he glared at the person before him, memories in the back of his mind.

He was young when he had been taken, and his parents had been brought with him. King was the only one who had walked out of that place, the only one who had not perished in one of Vegapunk's experiments. He still remembered hearing the man complain when his mother had passed, having drowned when they had been testing if their flames would protect them from all damage.

"The last time I was at that place everybody I was with died." He spat out, remembering crying in his restraints when he heard them talking about how he was the last specimen. He still did not know how his father had perished, only that he had. "What of it?"
