it’s like i summoned them to post the theme for me 🙏

i think it sounds fantastic, i feel like you can tell they listened to the previous soundtracks for inspiration and it actually sounds like dragon age. Something new with a perfect blend of inquisition and origins. The heavy crunchy bwaahs from inquisition, the drums of origins and something more nefarious and spooky… the fast scary strings are really awesome sounding and the repetitive main theme that i’m sure will be used in important moments and on other tracks in the soundtrack, like they’ve done before.

dragon age is so back 🤘

i really hope the music is good in veilguard, i heard just a little bit from one of the recent trailers and i’m hopeful. music has always been such an integral part of dragon age, origins through inquisition.

unfortunately it feels like nowadays there isn’t as much focus on making a memorable soundtrack, aside from such examples as baldurs gate but even then.

every memorable moment from inquisition was because of the music, like journey/return to skyhold, the fade, orlais all owe so much of the vibe and storytelling to the music in and out of cutscenes.

my hopes are high because of how good the inquisition soundtrack is and ESPECIALLY the DLC tracks are. if the descent or trespasser tracks are expectations of what’s to come (since they were the most recent to be made) sound wise i’m very excited. I listen to the inquisition soundtrack in its entirety regularly since it came out, so i hope it’ll be the same with veilguard 🤞

and what would dragon be without its themes 🗣️
