alright i’m asking for help because this month hit me like a bus

both of my cats are sick

cant find a cardiologist near me and i need refills on my heart meds desperately but no one will accept me without a referral which my doctors are refusing to do because i haven’t seen them in a year so ill have to go to urgent care to get a refill and a referral which is $149 downpay

rent is due and i’m $100 short

i dont have enough money for the bus route let alone uber 

i have a $16,000 medical bill that is now in debt collection and they are calling me everyday :D

I start my new job soon and I will no longer need help, but I genuinely need help this one last time. I’m on my own for the first time ever and I feel like a lost puppy. Look, I love y'all. I know you don't want to participate in so-called "drama" because you think it's messy and shit. I get that, I do. But here's the deal. Cowbuild and her cronies are making the whole patreon method of dealing with the sims look bad, and that affects YOU guys too.

Because of these bad apples, there are some people questioning if patreon is safe. Especially because Anto is involved, and he USED TO BE EARLY ACCESS.

You guys need to join in on calling this out and saying "No. This is not okay. We do not accept it, and we do not want this to be part of our community." I and others have tried to explain that these bad apples don't spoil the whole bunch, but when y'all choose to be silent on the issue, you don't help your case. So now is the time to speak up. You don't have to make your own post even. Just REBLOGGING what's already been shared is enough.

Update on Pebbles

Well, she’s a mess of scabs and bruises with the occasionally bloody spot. Her meds run out in about four days and I don’t have the ability to pay for them, I got a bit of help from one lovely person which allowed me to buy the medical supplies to bandage her and get her the medicated ointment needed, but we’re out of that as well. I would really like to raise 200 dollars, that way I could pay for her meds, which cost 149 dollars as well as her gauze, ointment, pain meds and other things needed to keep her comfortable. help us save ducky’s emotional support animal

hi everyone!! this is squirt. he is three years old and he’s a very beloved emotional support animal. since he came into our lives, he has been a huge help with my fiancee’s depression and PTSD. he’s the sweetest cat i’ve ever met.

he is also very sick. over this past weekend, we noticed that his breathing was very labored and that he was lethargic; he wasn’t eating or playing with our other cat. when the breathing difficulty persisted, we decided to take him to the vet.

after getting him x-rayed, we were told that squirt has a “diffuse mixed pulmonary pattern…characterized by multiple coalescing rounded soft-tissue opaque nodules with a concurrent bronchial and unstructured interstitial pattern”. basically, there’s something in his lungs that’s making it hard for him to breathe.

the vet believes he has either fungal pneumonia, toxoplasmosa, mycoplasma, or immune mediated pulmonary disease. they would like to hospitalize him and run the proper tests to get him diagnosed (and eventually treated). unfortunately, we cannot afford the cost of the tests. we were able to get him some medication that is going to keep him comfortable, but these meds will not make him better.

here is the current cost estimate for his care we were given by our vet (5/17/2021):

we were told by the vet that he has a chance at a long life if we can pull the money together to get him treated. he has brought so much comfort into my fiancee’s life and made them so happy. if we cannot pay to take care of his medical needs, we will need to put him down.

we have started a gofundme to cover the cost of his diagnostic tests and initial treatments. our current fundraising goal is $5,500. these funds are going towards Squirt’s diagnosis–we are likely going to have to update this page with an increased amount depending on what the diagnosis actually is. (for instance, if it’s fungal pneumonia, we’ve been told that therapy to treat it can be expensive as well.) additional information we were given from our vet is posted on the gofundme page. additionally, my fiancee is available to take digital art commissions if you would prefer to help us that way. here is their art blog. money made from commissions will also go to squirt’s medication and care. commission info can be found on this carrd. please help us save our cat. he’s a very good boy. if he has a chance at living, we would like to save him and give him a long, happy life.

Hello everyone, those of you that know the situation I’m dealing with right now because of what I expressed on an instagram livestream a couple of days ago and reached out to me to organize a fundraiser, thank you. Although it’s super uncomfortable to feel pressured to go public about this, it’s the best alternative I have in addition to Patreon.

I am not asking any of my patrons to donate unless you feel compelled, because I already use the small income I do earn as savings for her as well,  simply staying pledged helps, but I am not asking for that either. We all have things we are going through, but I would ask that you share this with others if you can and if you care because anything helps. ♥

This is not to say I will be taking a break from creating, because I can not completely rely on this fundraiser alone as it’s a large goal to try and achieve, so I’m going to continue working because I have no choice and I have responsibilities to all of my supporters, but I did want to share this here as well.
