The future of “The Crew”

Craig, Tweek, Kyle, and Stan are being swapped out for Homestuck characters after a week long of thinking.

Ever since The Crew was formed, the South Park characters never had much going for them, simply because i could not and still can’t watch South Park for character and continuity. And over the years i just been slowly falling out of the community and intrest in it.

Of course, they will still be around on Middle’Life, Craig and Tweek will work along side Solar’Sight [Who will be redesigned as a Warrior Cat oc instead of a My Pride oc], replacing Wubs and Shay completely. Stan and Kyle will be around and be caught up in Tom’s shenanigans when Tom finds a need for more man power.

Craig and Tweek will forever be a core reason for The Crew’s existence, and i’ll admit, it does hurt to get rid of them as main characters, but in their wake, more fleshed out characters and interactions will arise!! :]

And for Tom’s crew: Sollux and Karkat!! New designs, ref sheets, and more are soon to come, if I’m feeling good about drawing another 11 sheets for THE MAIN CHARACTERS again- 💀 Buuuut here’s some quickly whiteboard designs of Nikki and the others!! [NOT FINAL]

THE FINALE!

So…Surf & Turf Wars pt. 2 came out and:

It, as a whole was just kind of alright to be completely honest

the lobster Matt monster kind of didn’t amount to anything i was expecting and drove to much away from Edd and Tom

But the time they did have on screen was fine enough, love the drag race seen in the montage

also that weird shipping joke before the montage? I didn’t find it that funny or surprising, just, directed at the EW shippers and calling them weirdo’s for what ever reason [I mean, I KNOW why for some shippers, buuut, still, kind of weird.]

And the jokes in general haven’t been that great in Beyond, especially in this episode, relying on random characters we know nothing about to tell them for some reason? [I love random background characters just as much as the next guy but…I think we have enough at this point.]

I don’t know. I’m glad it came out, love the art and voice acting for the most part, but it was still a bit average in my opinion.

I think the problem with Beyond right now is Matt’s directing, it started off good in Casting Call [which isn’t considered an actual Eddisode] but started going down hill at Slippery Slope[?] [ Literally haven’t watched that Eddisode more then once when it came out]

He’s trying to be like a strange combination of Edd’s humor and Tom’s humor and it just isn’t working at all. :/

He’s trying his best and I appreciate that but, this just feels like he’s trying to do what the community wants in the most backwards way possible. This isn’t a “EW discourse” post, it’s just me putting my opinion on an Eddisode out there because I think it needed to be said.

I want more EWUSA art- These little shit-heads have so much queer potential- 💀
