I really liked Gwyn and Emerie but I started liking Eris quite a bit here. I never cared too much before and just found him amusing. It’s pretty obvious we’ve got another Rhysand plot line where he does bad things but is really a ‘good’ person, it’s been not so subtly hinted at over the past few books. It turns out even Mor knew why he left her to die or whatever. I obviously don’t think he’s perfect but he is interesting, and probably the most morally ambiguous character that recognises the fact. The only reason I’d continue this series is he had an even bigger role or maybe for a Lucien book. Otherwise I really don’t care anymore.

Rhys after his mating bond with Feyre snaps: *locks himself in the cottage with her for a week of straight fucking, is unable to leave her alone for five minutes, beats Cassian bloody right after seeing him for the first time after their mating because he is so high on all the possesive instincts*

Cassian after his mating bond with Nesta snaps: *her sex with her on one night then just leaves her for a week straight with some stupid explanation. No issues with possesiveness, no problems with Nesta being left along in a house with other males, he just leaves her and fucks off*

We were fucking robbed and you cannot convince me otherwise

I just . . nessian had soo much potential, their book was such an opportunity, i was so excited for it and she crapped all over everything

And seriously what is with this trope of stripping women of their power?! I absolutely hated it for aelin and it's even more of a character assassination for nesta
