I haven't drawn sonic characters in 8 years despite these characters meaning so much to me. Shadow the hedgehog means the world to me, and so through the indirect encouragement of @edgyhedgyheck on tumblr and @indigonite0 on instagram, I finally took a stab at it again. I'm not overly proud of it, but drawing him really made me happy and calm for that brief time it was being created. I missed that feeling

Happy Valentines Day Nicholas. I just wanted to offer up my gratitude to you for everything you've done for me, knowingly or not. You've given me smiles when all I knew to do was cry. You've offered me peace by merely speaking when all I felt was fear and anxiety. You've allowed me to laugh at your antics when I was only just before thinking about how happiness wasn't worth trying.
