Made the everymanhybrid crew in the sims 4 last night and this is basically what has been going on.

Vinnie is the most normal one there.

Evan is also normal but he screams a lot.

Jeff likes to dance.

Alex is just being the average teenager.

Steph and the baby are just being wholesome.

And HABIT has a weird obsession with dancing with Jeff sometimes (he somehow managed to take care of Alex better than Jeff too.)

I should update you on this lore... i made Jessie and Jessa today.

Also Jeff and Alex have a singular toilet in their room they gatekeep from the others.

scaramouche thinks it should be painfully obvious he's sweet on you.

he doesn't get why you're struggling to pick up on the fact. he does more for you than he would anyone else, human or otherwise. he listens when you speak, doesn't physically recoil when you brush against him, and tones down his insults to a level he thought himself incapable of. you always bemoan his tendency 'to glare at you like you did him wrong somehow', but he swears he isn't glaring. probably. he's just focusing. you have such a knack for theatrics sometimes. seriously, why don't you appreciate how hard he's trying here? he can't recall the last time he put in such substantial effort to get himself in a person's good graces. it's exhausting, not to mention entirely below a being of his caliber. each smile feels tighter than the last when you stubbornly insist on being difficult. adjusting your head to the side when he tries to kiss you, crawling as far away from him as you can on his bed; your belligerence knows no bounds.

when he feels himself threatening to snap, he remembers the many centuries under his belt and ceases bristling. you have no idea, do you? his ability to wait to get what he wants. whether it be the gnosis, or revenge on his wretched creator, he's used to time ticking away for the results he desires.

so even if you don't get it today, tomorrow, or perhaps a decade later, he'll remain undeterred. being immortal makes you nothing if not patient.

The OBSESSION with identity is so crazy like the view that when you do something it immediately becomes part of your identity and all the parts of you have to click together to become “person who wakes up early” or “person who reads” no you can literally just do something without restructuring your whole performance of personhood around it. I don’t know what to tell you except that you will never be able to have an entirely unfractured view of yourself or that you will be able to rationalize all the complex parts of yourself into the phrase “person who x” like you should just be doing things without performing them. Or aestheticizing them. Just try different things on and keep what works for you. Otherwise you will never learn and grow!
