Imagine... TSUMUGI comes home after a long day of work, he was already worn out from all of the reviewing, editing paperwork, sitting in a chair for too long, not to mention getting scold by the red hair magician.. for him, it was his typical day, everyday. But for some reasons, today is more tiring than the other day. He keeps wondering about it... But that thought soon no longer in his mind when he sees YOU, greeting him infront of the door. Warm and fuzziness take over his heart, TSUMUGI is no longer feeling tired, almost as if YOU use magic on him... But he doesn't care, he gladly let YOU use magic on him...♪

I'm getting the idea of Tsumugi aoba/reader in medieval times, where Tsumugi is the librarian of reader's castle library..... And just them bond time to time, i think I'm gonna write it

In a room with glass bottles on the shelves, each filled with different colourful liquids, paper scattered around the room and a magic circle drawn on the floor. There sat a certain redhead currently experimenting on a potion.

“Abracadabra…Hocus-pocus”

While another person just sat at the table, watching the redhead in awe.

Natsume and you were friends since middle school.

At that time, you have always pestered (as Natsume likes to say) the redhead to stop skipping class. (Which didn’t really do anything)

After each attempt, the two of you grew a little closer with you being fascinated by his work.

Tho you did quite cringed at how he would call you little kitten─ (Same tho)

The two of you were in the secret room just enjoying each other’s company in silence,

that was until someone unexpectedly entered the room.

“What are you doing heRE?” Natsume asked, as he noticed the dark blue-haired boy at the doorway,

who seemed to be amazed by Natsume’s work.

“Tsumugi Aoba.”

“How do you know my name..?” asked the addressed boy with a surprised face.

“Aoba-senpai did quite become famous, wouldn’t you say?”

Tsumugi turned to the other person, whose present he didn’t notice.

“Ah Y/N long time no see! What are you doing here?”

“Long time indeed. I’m just doing some paperwork.”

Normally, you would do the paperwork alone at the library, but Natsume has asked for your assistance with a new potion he’s making.

In the end, you didn’t really have to help much.

It was just an excuse to spend some time with you.

“You two know each otheR?” Natsume questioned, surprised by the both familiarities.

“Aoba-senpai once helped me when I first started at Yumenosaki, without him I probably would’ve been lost that day,” you said with a light chuckle.

“Ahhh, it wasn’t really a big deal,” said Tsumugi, quite embarrassed.

“I see, you’re alwaYS so hard workiNG, so responsibLE. I should praiSE you.” Natsume said as he stood up.

“Even if you don’t worK like a slavE, everyone still loves yoU,” he added, doing a hand motion which seemed like he was casting a spell on him.

Getting even more embarrassed, “I did become famous, huh?” Tsumugi exclaimed with a little shade of red adorning his cheeks.

“huh? Did my maGIC not worK? I need to train more,” Natsume sighs

“MastER will get angry at me.”

“Aren’t you…” Tsumugi trailed off, as Natsume closed the door behind him.

“That’s rigHT, I’m the magicIAN at Yumenosaki Academy─ Natsume Sakasaki”

“If you pay the pricE, I will sweep away any worrIES you have,”

‘Are- are they just gonna stare at each other?’ you wondered,

as you watched the scene in front of you.

'Natsume looks kinda irritated fufu~’

“What?” Natsume finally asked breaking the silence.

“Um, Natsume don’t you remember me?” wondered Tsumugi.

“Your mother is a famous fortune teller, right?”

“Yes, but wait─ I don’t know wherE you’re going with thiS.”

“When you were young, did you wear girl’s clothes?” Tsumugi bashfully asked.

“?!”

“PFFF you did what as a kid?”

“If you don’t shuT your mouth, I’m going to puT a curse on yoU”

Natsume threatened you, but you both knew that he wouldn’t do that…or would he?

“AnywAYS, it’s true that I was made to act like a girl when I was young but…” Natsume trailed off.

“You went to a dance school during that time, right?” Tsumugi asked

“I think I did, for a few weekS. You mean the one with the bad manageMENT, right?”

“Ahaha, that was run by my mother,” Tsumugi exclaimed laughing cheerfully.

'yikes, if I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t have led that slide, Aoba-senpai’ you thought,

as both you and Natsume sweatdropped.

You slightly envy him for how he can be cheerful after that.

“Ah, if I may ask, how do you and Y/N know each other?”

“We both went to the same middle school together! I still remember how he always skipped class, well─ seems like that it hasn’t changed much haha,” you answered, thinking about the memories of you and Natsume.

“Yeah, I still rememBER how you always pestered me to go to clasS.”

“Uwaaah… that hurts, Natsume!”

“Haha, seems like you two quite have a history together. Ahh, I’m glad we could meet again, little Natsume!” Tsumugi said with a closed-eyed smile.

“The next timE you call me thaT, I’ll casT a spell on you to makE your face look ugly.” Natsume threatened, standing a few meters away from him with the speed of light.

“Stop that…”

“Ahhh Natsume, leave poor senpai alone,” you said, feeling quite sympathetic for your upperclassmen.

“What kind of experiment is this?” Tsumugi asked, watching Natsume doing one of his potions

The atmosphere is quite comforting now after the whole situation. It was quite calming watching Natsume do some experiments, while you did paperwork.

“I’m trying out diffeRENT things while killing timE,” Natsume answered.

“Y/N helped me with an experiMENT a while ago.”

“I didn’t really do much, Natsume did most of the hard work,” you exclaimed with a nervous smile.

“That’s not truE”

After saying that, Natsume tapped the glass bottle he was holding with a magic stick making the potion filled with pink liquid lightly explode, decorating the room with pink smoke and sparkles.

Natsume really never fails to amaze you with whatever he is doing, even Tsumugi was awestruck.

“It really is like magic!” Tsumugi said, still mesmerizes by Natsume’s work.

“Not like magic. It is magIC.” Natsume corrected. “The show’s over” he continued, standing up, and looking at Tsumugi. “Will you go home now?” he asked, which sounded more like a demand than a question.

“Ah, very well..” said the dark blue hair looking down quite sad.

'Uwaaah… Aoba-senpai looks disappointed. Damn Natsume show some respect for your upperclassmen!’ you thought, scolding Natsume quietly.

“Can I stop by here again some other time?” Tsumugi asked before leaving. “We were able to meet again after so long, so I would like to be friends with you again and you too Y/N,” he continued, looking at you.

It kinda surprised you.

“I don’t mind, I would also like to befriend you Aoba-senpai, it was fun talking to you and a little more company wouldn’t hurt,” you said.

“I’m also quite interested in how Natsume was as a young little girl hehe~,” you continued, teasing Natsume slightly, having too much fun with it

“Y/N!” Natsume sighs “very well then if it’s ok for yoU. Tsumugi you can come here someTIME again”

Tho Natsume does prefer for you and him to have alone time in the secret room, not that he would ever admit it tho with the amount of pride he has.

Happy with the answer,

“Okay, see you late then you two!” Said Tsumugi and with that he left the secret room, leaving you and Natsume alone again, not knowing that it was the beginning for the Eccentrics.
