(Spoilers in Episodes 4,8 and 9)

I’m rambling on this idea I have. Please take this with a grain of salt. It’s truly, just a thought 🙃

I’m assuming Ritsu knows about there being a traitor on the campus. But I don’t think Taiga told him who. Just like Taiga didn’t really tell MC either. Well, more like he wanted to know if MC was playing ignorant/pretending to not know. Or she doesn’t actually know. Ritsu on the other hand is probably doing his own research. Trying to figure out who is the traitor Taiga is referring to.

Which is Ritsu is seen hiding from Tohma with his handy dandy recorder. Could he be suspecting Tohma being the traitor? Or is digging for dirt for his clients (lol). He very much could be getting dirt for his client.

Also, back when Taiga was suspected to be the murders for his own dorm matés disappearances. Ritsu jumped the gun and stated that Taiga is the one at fault, due to his reckless and brute nature. You would think Ritsu would’ve gathered hard evidence before stating Taiga is at fault. Maybe Ritsu has poor judgment? He seems to like the food at Mystery Diner. He asked Ren and MC, which ramen to pick from. He even asked his mother (episode 9) about what sunglasses to choose from. Poor baby has poor judgment and can’t choose for himself. He really can’t think for himself. He has to think what’s best suited for job/work. Not for his own personal needs, preferences, or enjoyment.

He really is just baby 🥺
