Soulmate AU

In this AU, the thread between the hearts appears at a certain point in life, only seen by the soulmates, and if they are too far apart, it becomes taut, hurting them both. The thread can change color depending on the mood or moral choices of the people connected by it. Through the thread, soulmates can sense each other's fluctuating emotions, so strong feelings are transmitted from one person to the other. If the thread breaks, both soulmates die; if one of them dies, the other goes after him anyway. Basing on this factor, I planned for Will to suffer so much from the whole situation that she would drive herself to attempt do away with herself. To take Phobos with her and do a "good deed", perhaps. And of course he won't let that happen! The way I see it, Phobos would sooner come to terms with having a connection with Will, just relentlessly looking for a way to get rid of it and often getting annoyed with the side effects.
