Austin Butler x reader

a/n - request: "I have a request. I was think about when Austin was in Budapest filming Dune II and reader showing him or the whole crew (Timothee, Zendaya, Florence) around the city in their free time and Austin gets a crush on the reader and the crew teases him about it" - hopefully i fulfilled your vision :)

âYou need to get out of this place, you know, get some fresh air,â you tell Austin as you stand in front of him.
He was currently reclining on the lounge chair in front of you reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. The book was literally centuries old, but somehow it caught his attention.
âI went out with you guys earlier,â he says referring to you and Florence, his eyes still attached to the book.
âThat was for breakfast, and afterwards we came straight back here. Iâm talking about just getting out and walking around to explore. This is your first time in Budapest, do you really want to spend your days off from filming surrounded by four walls all day?â
âItâs no use, heâs been stuck in that position all day,â you hear Florence say. Florence was sitting out on the condoâs balcony â it had been rented to the three of you for the duration of filming Dune. She swivels her chair around to join the conversation currently happening inside.
âIâm not taking no for an answer,â you glance at her before looking back at Austin. âThis is unacceptable. You have plenty of time to read, the book isnât going anywhere.â
âAnd Budapest isnât going anywhere either, weâre going to be here for a while,â Austin looks up at you while he speaks, but immediately looks back down at his book when heâs done.
You scoff before you snatch the book out of his hands and hold it behind your back.
He lets out a big sigh and says, âreally?â
Austin looks over at Florence as if he was silently asking for help, but she says, âIâm not on your side.â
He laughs at her statement before looking up at you. You raise your eyebrows, waiting for him to say something.
âI guessâŚI can take a break,â he finally says.Â
You smile and hand his book back to him, before turning around and heading to your room to change. This causes you to miss the smile he gives you back and the way he stares at you as you walk away. Florence notices, though, but she already knew about his crush on you. It was the main reason he caved in so quickly.
What everyone doesnât though is his reasoning for not wanting to go out â he doesnât know how to act around you. When you look up at him he canât help but smile, he also canât help the way his neck turns red, but you donât notice. When you asked him a question and he gave you an answer, he would end up overthinking for the next hour if his response was too long, or wonder if his answer was good enough, or even wonder if he made too much eye contact with you.
âAre you going to tell her, or should I,â she smirks at him as she comes inside from the balcony.
âDonât you dare,â Austin points at her, and she laughs.
You took responsibility for being the tour guide around the city, this is what you do in all new cities. Anytime it was someone else, you just ended up being in charge in the end, but of course you took suggestions.
âWhere to next?â you ask everyone behind you as you look down at the minimap on your phone. Timothee and Zendaya had finished filming for the day and ended up joining you guys on the sightseeing journey.
The sun was setting and you all had just left St. Stephenâs Basilica, or as the locals call it Szent Istvan Bazilika.
âOh, now you want to ask us?â Timothee jokes from behind you, causing you to turn around to see him smiling at you, Austin standing next to him with his hands in his pockets. You continue walking, but backwards to keep moving.
âWell I wasnât going to, but I figured it was rude to not hear from the group,â you joke back with a shrug of your shoulders.
âIâm fine with you leading, youâre doing a great job,â Zendaya says from beside you, Florence hums in agreement from the other side of her. You look at Austin for his answer, and he just nods with a grin on his face
âWell thank you, Iâm glad my service is appreciated,â you say to no one in particular and then look back at Timothee.
âDo you have a suggestion?â you raise your eyebrows at him.
âWell since Iâm the only one that seems to have a problem, nope,â he laughs and you smile back.
Meanwhile, while you were talking to Timothee, Austin was watching you. He watched the way your face lit up as you joked with Timothee, the light from the sunset reflecting on your face. He watched how the whites of your teeth showed when you smiled and the way your lip gloss made your teeth look even whiter.
When you bumped into someone on accident from you walking backwards, he watched the way you immediately apologized and helped the person pick up their dropped belongings. He saw the embarrassment on your face when you turned back to the group to ask, âSo no one was going to tell me that I was going to crash into someone?â
You easily brushed it off and turned around to continue walking, allowing Austin to stare at you as much as you wanted. When he heard you laugh at something Florence said, a grin instantly appeared on his face.
Austin felt Timothee nudge him in his side to get his attention. When he looked over, Timothee leaned in with a smirk to whisper, âyouâre making it so obvious, just tell her.â
Austin playfully pushed him away. He did want to tell you, he just didnât know how to tell you, which he knew was ridiculous because you wouldnât be the first girl he admitted his feelings to. Another thing holding him back was the thought of you not liking him back and just seeing him as a friend.
What Austin didn't know, though, you had feelings for him too, but you were one of those people who would never admit their feelings first. You getting rejected? No. There was no way you could just move on and pretend like it didnât happen.Â
Florence and Zendaya both knew how you felt and kept asking you to tell him because according to them âItâs obvious Austin likes you.â You just thought they were saying that to try and convince you, not knowing it was actually true.
Eventually, Austin would admit his feelings to you when it felt like the right time, and of course you would say yes. When everyone found out that you were dating, you two would have to deal with the endless amount of teasing and âI told you soâsâ because little did you both know, the feelings were reciprocated.

Farleigh Start x reader
Warnings - 18+, smut, overstimulation, edging, sub!farleigh, whiny farleigh
Word count - 979
a/n - i watched midsommar for the first time after putting it off, and I sat in silence for like 3 minutes afterwards. also i've had this idea for a couple weeks and it's inspired by this video if you're curious (18+). anyways i hope you enjoy :)

Farleigh liked to be dominant, but he also enjoyed the times when you took control. Those were mainly the times when you wanted to get back at him for something he had done earlier in the day or for whatever happened during your guysâ previous pleasure session.
Today, he had been teasing you in the presence of other people. During lunch with the rest of the Catton family, Farleigh had put his hand on your thigh and continued to move it up until it went under your skirt and touched your underwear. He would brush his fingers against you every once and a while over your panties before pulling away; the first time it made you jerk and choke on your drink mid swallow. That grabbed the attention of everyone at the table, including Farleigh who pretended to act innocent.
While the two of you laid naked in the middle of the field with Felix, Venetia, and Oliver, he had decided he needed a break from reading and lit a cigarette. He had also decided to start gently rubbing your hip, and then moved to the skin between your hips making sure not to move too far down before lifting his hand away. Thankfully the blades of grass in the field are so tall because to everyone else it probably seemed like normal pda.
Now the two of you are undressed once again, but this time in the comfort of your bedroom. In Farleighâs mind, he thinks you guys are going to do your regular foreplay before continuing on with the night, but you have other plans that include getting back at him.
âGo ahead and get comfortable,â you tell him as you motion for him to lay back on the bed.
He seems to get the message because he gives you a smirk as he gets himself a little too comfortable on the bed. He lays back on the pillows and puts his hands behind his head as he looks down at you. âWell, donât mind if I do.â
You throw him a fake grin before taking him into your mouth. You begin to massage his balls while your mouth makes its way slowly up and down his shaft, still looking up at him. You put your other hand on his thigh to stabilize yourself, but decide on moving it up towards his lower stomach. A sigh falls out of Farleighâs mouth as he closes his eyes to enjoy the moment. As much as you love him and how much doing this turns you on, you canât help but want to roll your eyes.Â
As his orgasm approaches, his muscles get more tense and his whines become more frequent.
He had removed his hands from behind his head long ago, but the hand on the back of your head begins applying more and more pressure. You make sure to do everything he loves to bring him closer and closer to tumbling over the edge, but right as you notice him getting ready to release, you pull your head off of him.
âNo, no, no, what are you doing?â Farleigh sits up against the headboard and frowns, his chest still heaving. Heâs still incredibly hard and now covered with a mixture of your saliva and his precum trickling down him.
âOh, nothing. I just thought Iâd have a little fun, you know just like how you had your fun earlier today at lunch and in the field,â you tell him.
âOh, come on. Youâre not really upset about that are you?â he asks, but it comes out as more of a whine, desperate for you to touch him again.
âOf course not, but like I just said, I want to have some fun too,â you give him your best innocent smile as you wrap your hand around him once again to tease his tip. A small groan comes out of his mouth as a result. You let out a small laugh before continuing, âLighten up.â
You start off slow, but quickly pick up speed causing Farleigh to throw his head back against the headboard. His orgasm approaches once again, and this time you let it come, not letting up on the speed. His moans are constant as long ropes shoot out onto his stomach and your hand. The flow feels like itâs never going to end, and you use the cum as a lube to keep going. Farleigh squeezes his eyes shut as he grabs on to the blanket beneath him. When it becomes too much for him, he reaches for your hand to pull it away, but you just flick it away.
âBabyâŚ,â he starts, but doesnât finish as he cuts himself off with a whimper.
âJust one more,â you sweetly tell him as your hand continues.
He squirms from the overstimulation, and you sit on his legs to try to keep him still. His second orgasm comes out as semi transparent ropes onto his tense abdomen. He looks up at you as a silent question, and you shake your head in response. You continue your movements up and down his shaft alternating between hands, and the squelching sound the cum beneath your hand makes just eggs you on. You both enjoyed it when it became messy.
Orgasm number three is mostly a liquid as it squirts out. Farleigh has fallen back onto the bed and is a whining and twitching mess beneath you. You decide that youâve tortured him enough and release your grip on him. He lets out a deep breath as his chest heaves up and down. You crawl up closer to his face to get a better look at him and give him a gentle smile. He looks up at you and playfully rolls his eyes at you before letting out an exhausted laugh.Â
After all, he does this to you all the time.

Austin Butler x reader
Warnings - angst, fluff, soft!Austin aka normal Austin
Word count - 1877
a/n - request: âThe reader works from home and is really stressed and starting to fall back into depression and Austin comforting her. Austin finds her crying when he comes home because she is overwhelmedâ - I wrote this on my phone since Iâm out of town and it was kinda terrible. Also I visited Elvisâ house and saw Austinâs little exhibit, enjoy :)

You were getting more and more anxious with every passing day. Earlier this month you had auditioned for a role, and you were told that you would receive an answer by the end of the month. Ever since the audition, the first thing you would do each morning would check your emails and your messages for a response, but you were met with nothing.
To be honest, you really needed this job. This is the first role youâve auditioned for in over a year, and getting the job would help bring you out of your current funk. You spend your days working from home, except for the days you have to go out in town for meetings, and being at home all the time is taking a toll on you.
For months Austin had been gone to film for a new movie and he had just come back recently. You watch as Austin leaves to go to the gym or meet up with friends, and each time he would ask you to join him and tell you to leave your work for later, but you were never in the mood.
You could see the disappointment on his face when you would decline his offers, but he wouldnât say anything or push you.
Now, you were standing in the bathroom trying to wipe the tears from your eyes and clear your face before Austin came back home from dinner. Your face was red and your eyes were swollen â you just looked a complete mess.
You grab a washcloth and hold it under cold water to use on your eyes. This has started to become a recurring task, and somehow you felt like you were lying to Austin by doing this and acting like nothing is wrong.
After holding the washcloth over your eyes for a couple minutes, you lower your hands to examine your face in the mirror, only to see Austin standing in the doorway through the reflection in the mirror.
The look on his face breaks you, and for a second you feel like youâre going to start crying again.
Austinâs eyebrows are furrowed and he has this gentle look on his face. Heâs still in his dress pants and buttoned down from dinner with his sleeves rolled above his elbows. You look away, not ready to look him in the eye and not really wanting to talk about it, but you already know heâs going to pry it out of you.
âYouâre back early,â you say, trying to change the subject, even though itâs obviously not going to work. He was home early, though. He wasnât supposed to be back for another hour.
What you donât know is that he left early because he didnât want to leave you home alone too long. He wouldnât tell you that, though, because he knows how quilty you would feel.
When he got home, he noticed the house was a little too quiet, so he went looking around for you. He heard sniffles as he entered the bedroom, and thatâs when he found you in the bathroom trying to clear your face.
Heâs noticed the depletion of your mental health, but heâs been waiting for you to say something to him. He hates that itâs gotten to the point, and he can't help but feel like itâs his fault.
You set the towel down on the countertop, and play with the cloth to continue avoiding his gaze. You wait for him to say something, but nothing comes.
Itâs silent for a moment â you not being ready to talk, and him not knowing what to say. Then, you hear the shuffling of his socks on the bathroom tile coming closer to you.
Austin grabs your hips to turn you towards him, and when you donât move, he makes his grip more firm. You finally give in to face him, looking up at him with your red eyes, though the swelling has gone down from the cold washcloth.
He holds your face in his hands as he stares down at you. Your eyes move to the side to look at anything but him. He wraps his arms around you as he pulls you into his chest, not caring about his nice shirt getting soaked, and thatâs when you break down again.
He gently shushes you as your cries get more intense and your body shakes. When you start to quiet down is when Austin opens his mouth.
âI know you donât want to, but I need you to tell me whatâs going on. Iâve been waiting for you to come to me because I didnât want to pry, but baby if youâre breaking down like this, you need to let it out. If you didnât want to tell me, then at least talk to someone,â he pleads as he soothes you by rubbing your back.
You pull away from his chest with his arms still around you. Using the back of your hands, you wipe your eyes and sniffle to try and clear your stuffy nose. You feel bad for the wet spot you left on his shirt.
âI justâŚI donât know. I feel like such a failure because all I do is wake up, get on my laptop, sleep, and repeat. And I feel like Iâm in the way because youâre out working, and each time you come back home, Iâm still in the same spot you left me in. Iâve been a killjoy for you and Iâve been taking up space, and youâve just had to deal with me all these months and Iâm so, so, sorry. I-,â
âStop, stop, stop,â Austin says softly as he cuts off your rambling, bringing his hands back to your face. âYou have nothing to be sorry for, so donât apologize.â
âBut I-,â you begin to say, but Austin cuts you off again. Tears gather in your waterline once again, but they donât fall.
âNo, Iâm serious. Donât apologize. Youâre not a failure, I donât ever want you to say that or think that about yourself because itâs not true. You think every actor is booked everyday of the year? Theyâre not. All actors take breaks, and they do it because they need to. Shit happens. And you havenât been a killjoy or taking up space, this place is yours as much as it is mine.â
His eyes donât leave yours once throughout the whole speech. His heart breaks at the sight in front of him. Austin hates to see you cry.
âI want to take a break. I didnât need to take a break. I did this to myself,â you tell him.
âWho cares. You donât need to feel like you always need to have something going on. No oneâs pressuring you to do anything â Iâm not, and neither is the world. I'll always be on your side, and I will always be here for you because I love you. I need you to know that,â Austin tells you with a sad smile. He desperately needs you to know that youâre loved. âDo you know that?â
You nod in response to his question, but he shakes his head.
âI need to hear you say it.â
âYes, I know,â you mumble, but Austin accepts it.
âAnd donât you ever forget it. Also, I wouldn't care if you never moved again and left a dent in the mattress, as long as youâre here for me when I get home thatâs all that matters to me,â he jokes, and you canât help but let out a small laugh. âThereâs that smile.â
You give him a shove, and he just laughs. Austin moves his hands down to gather your hand in each of his.
âHave you heard back from that role you auditioned for?â He asks hopefully, his eyebrows raised and his tone still soft.
âNope,â you shake your head as you let out a gloomy sigh.
âWell you still have until the end of the month,â he tells you as he playfully begins to swing your hands in his.
âAt least one of us is optimistic,â you tell him as you look down.
âOne of us has to be,âhe says as he brings one of your hands up to his mouth for him to kiss the back of it.
The next morning, you wake up with a headache, the one that always comes when youâve been crying. You stay in bed, not quite ready to get up and face the day. Although the talk you had with Austin did make you feel better, you still have that voice in the back of your head.
Austin rolls over to see you staring at the ceiling. He wraps an arm around your waist as he scoots closer to you, studying your face. You look over at him once you feel his touch and give him a small smile.
âHow ya feeling?â He asks you as he lifts the bottom of your shirt a little to reach the skin on your waist and begins to caress the skin.
âPretty good,â you say genuinely.
âYou know, you could just stay here in bed with me. I donât have anything to do today,â he tells you as he moves his hand over your stomach to lightly tickle the skin there.
You laugh at the feeling. âI would love to, but I have a couple things to do and some emails to send.â
Austin groans as you slowly crawl out of bed away from his touch, and you just smile.
You brush your teeth and clean yourself up before you head to Austinâs office where you do most of your work. As youâre walking down the hallway towards the room you feel your phone vibrate in your hand.
You thought it was just a regular notification, so you raise your hand to quickly glance at your phone before going to put your hand back down by your side, but you stop yourself halfway.
A message had caught your eye. Your manager had messaged you saying:
- Check your email NOW!
Youâre frozen for a second before picking up the pace to the office. Once you reach the desk, you donât even bother to take a seat as you type in the password to your laptop.
All you need to see are the words âwe are happy to offer you the roleâ before you let out an excited scream. Finally. You can finally stop stressing, get out of the house, and continue what you love doing.
Austin comes running into the room after your outburst and meets you with a confused face. âWhatâs wrong?â he asks, but once he sees the huge grin on face, he raises his eyebrows and a smile appears on his own lips. âDid you get it?â
You nod happily as you jump up and down, and Austin mirrors your actions with his toothbrush still in his mouth.
As he brings you in for a hug, he says, âIâm so proud of you, I knew you would get it.â
âNo you didnât,â you tell him as he squeezes you.
âYes, I did. I knew you would get it because you're amazing and talented and smarter than me and-.â
âAustin,â you laugh as you cut him off, âenough.â

Like a Snake
Feyd Rautha x reader
Warnings - 18+, oral sex (fem receiving), fingering, blood
Word count - 466
a/n - this is something I quickly wrote based on a post I made the other day about expecting Feyd to cut his tongue during his opening scene. Also I haven't written smut in over a month and I feel like I lost my ability to do so bc I struggled lol. I hope you enjoy :)

The other day Feyd had the bright idea to basically slice his tongue in half during a training match. One of his foot soldiers had handed him the wrong blade, causing Feyd to lose his temper. Earlier that day, Feyd had asked you to attend for support â not like he needs it â and you agreed because you had nothing better to do. However if you wouldâve known you would be watching blood spill out his mouth you wouldâve said no, you were never good with blood.
When you ran up to him, mainly to stop him from killing someone, he had said, âit was either this or his throat.â
Since Feyd wasnât allowed to talk with his self-inflicted injury, it was kind of freeing not having to listen to his yelling and complaining. Youâre sure the staff around the palace were pleased as well. Unfortunately, his injury didnât prevent him from scowling at people any chance he had.Â
Feyd was in a bad mood for the rest of the week, of course because he wasnât able to talk to you, but also for the selfish reason that he couldnât eat you out. He wanted to make up for lost time as soon as he was healed, telling you he wanted to try out his new tongue,
When he finally managed to get you on your back, he made a show of showing off his tongue before diving between your legs. You thought that it wouldnât make you feel any different than any other time he went down on you, but you couldnât have been more wrong.
He started off with sucking your clit, and you instantly let out a moan when you felt the two sides of his tongue sliding against you. Still, that was nothing compared to when he started to quickly flick his tongue against you like a snake causing your mouth to fall open as you stared up at the ceiling.
When you started squirming around too much Feyd wrapped his arms around your thighs and pressed his hands down on your stomach to keep you in place, but that didnât stop you from trying. He pushed two fingers inside of you and began to swiftly move in and out when you felt you were drenched enough. The sound of the wet squelching coming from between your legs and the feeling of his split tongue against your sensitive cunt was more than enough to make you cum.
Feyd let out a laugh when he looked up to see your hands gripping the blankets beneath you as your walls contracted against his fingers.
âThat was kind of quick wasnât it?â he asked with a tilt of his head as your body began to relax. He then smirked and said, âhow about we try again?â
Unwanted Help
Feyd Rautha x sister!reader
Warnings - nothing just fluff
Word count - 2587
a/n - it's my birthday, so i thought I might as well get this out of the drafts and give you guys a gift too :) also let's just pretend Feyd never killed his mother and his upbringing wasn't so terrible lol. Thank you guys for all the love and enjoy :)

âSo, how do I look?â you ask as you step out of your walk-in closet.Â
Your mother and your brother Feyd had been waiting in your bedroom to see your dress for the debutante ball; Feyd was looking out the window with his hands clasped behind his back, while your mother made herself comfortable at the edge of your bed.
You do a little spin as you walk out of your closet, for the theatrics of course, before turning to face your family. A smile instantly appeared on your mothers face as she clapped her hands, while Feyd turned his attention away from the window to give you a questionable look. It was obvious he wasnât a fan of the dress.
âItâs gorgeous, my love,â your mother beams as she walks over to gather your hands in hers.
âIâve seen better looks on the commoners wandering the streets,â Feyd declares as his eyebrows furrow, looking at the fabric like it was one of the ugliest things heâs ever seen. Your face drops and your mouth falls ajar at Feydâs statement.
âFeyd-Rautha!â your mother exclaims, scowling at your brother.
âIâm sorry, I thought she was asking for our opinions,â he dully states with a shrug.
âAn opinion doesnât mean tearing her down,â your mother retorts. âBesides, there are only a handful of people that could afford the seamstress that designed your sister's dress.â
You pull your hands out from your motherâs grasp and walk over to the mirror on the wall to see your appearance for yourself. She follows and stands behind you as you look at your reflection, while Feyd keeps his place by the window. The gown was everything you could imagine and more â and it should be, given the fact that you gave the seamstress explicit directions in order to bring your visions to life. You turn to the side and assess the back of you before turning back and running a hand down your dress.
âItâs perfect,â you say, mainly to yourself, then turn to frown at your brother, âYouâre an imbecile, Feyd.âÂ
He just rolls his eyes in response.
Deep down, Feyd did appreciate the way you looked, but all he could think of was the amount of men that were going to be looking at you later tonight. His skin crawled at the thought. He made a mental note to make sure to keep a blade under his robe.
You also knew that Feyd wasnât completely disgusted with the way you look â even though it would take a lot for him to say that out loud â so his opinion didnât affect you too much. Feyd was a huge softie when it came to you, but also extremely protective.
âThat seamstress couldâve made you something that wasnât soâŚrevealing. Thereâs no doubt people will be looking,â Feyd says.
He was referring to the way the dress accentuated your breasts, and how the corset helped give your body an hourglass figure.
âThatâs kind of the point. The whole point of a debutante ball is to help a woman find a suitor, you know, and of course to show off to everyone else,â your mother smirks at the end.
Feydâs eye twitched at the idea of you marrying some pathetic man.
âDoes father know?â Feyd asks.
âOf course he does, and heâs fine with it because he understands,â your mother tells him. Feyd frowned at her response. âNow, enough of this. Letâs leave her be until itâs time to go.â
Your mother started to walk to the door of your bedroom, and when she noticed Feyd hadnât moved, she whirls around to give him a look. Feyd rolls his eyes, but then moves to follow her out of your room.
Later that day when you and your family were walking into the building, you felt excited and nervous. Most of the public outings you experienced had to do with Feydâs games or business meetings off planet, so you rarely enjoyed more casual outings.Â
It didnât take long for you to start socializing with some of the other girls that you did know â they were princesses of lords or barons your father had done business with in the past. They were kind and easy to converse with, but you found yourself having to listen to them putting your brother on a pedestal; they talked about how strong and undefeated he was, or they talked about how attractive they found him and who they thought could get with him first. They didnât seem to care about the fact that his sister was standing there talking with them as well, or maybe they did and was hoping you would mention one of them to Feyd. You wouldnât.
There was of course that one group of girls that formed a clique to gossip about everyone in attendance, like how much each family was worth and which one had the higher place in society, but they also made sure to discuss who was dressed the best and who had the best chance of finding a suitor. You saw a couple of them whispering and pointing at you, but you just rolled your eyes because you knew each one of their backstories, such as the fact that a few of them belonged to families that were going bankrupt. There was no doubt they were projecting their own insecurities.
It also didnât take long for men to approach you to strike up conversation, or to ask you to join them in the middle for a dance. Those who said they would be back later to get to know you more never did. You just figured that those men werenât really interested in you.
Little did you know, Feyd was watching you the whole time, but he mostly cared for the men who had the audacity to approach you. He was standing in a group of well known men, your guysâ father amongst them, discussing politics and whatever else they felt was important. Feyd, of course, had to chip in every now and again, but that didnât stop him from keeping you in his sight and leaving the conversation when needed.
âMay I have this dance,â a gentleman known as Prince Killian approached you, his hand extended out for you to take.
Apparently, he was next in line to inherit his fatherâs title as lord â a man who had recently gotten sick with an incurable illness.
âYou may,â you smile as you hold out your hand for him to take. Why not, right? He was a kind and humble man, according to what you heard from word of mouth, but was too gentle and soft to take his fatherâs place. He was also awfully easy on the eyes.
Prince Killian led you to the center of the packed ballroom and guided you through the music. He made sure to ask about your interests and your hobbies, what occupied your time during your days. He even made sure to compliment your dress. His eyes remained on yours and he kept a gentle smile on his face the whole time. You enjoyed your time with him, and the feeling seemed to be reciprocated on his end.
When you had to excuse yourself because your mother wanted to pull you aside, you didnât notice Feyd swiftly and smoothly making his way over to Prince Killian. Feyd had been waiting for this moment since he saw the two of you getting very close during your dance. He saw the way Prince Killian looked at you, and there was no doubt in Feydâs mind that he was interested in you.
Feyd didnât approve, Prince Killian was too soft as a man after all. Did you really want to be tied down to someone with that kind of a reputation? Would he be able to protect you? Feyd felt disgusted just looking at him. He had to stop this relationship from blossoming even further.
âWhat is your business with my sister?â Feyd asked the prince. He had snuck up on him from behind, so Killian had gotten startled. He faced Feyd and tried his best to keep his cool as Feyd stood there expressionless with his hands clasped behind his back. Feyd intimated him, he intimated everyone.
âNothing of ill intent, I promise you, na-baron,âPrince Killian says to him and holds his hands behind his back, mimicking Feyd and trying to seem unaffected.
âIs that so?â asks Feyd while giving him a once-over. âSo youâve taken a liking to her then?â
âYes, I have,â Prince Killian nods.
âAnd you would like to pursue her?â
âWith your permission, of course,â Prince Killian offers a smile.
âHow unfortunate because you donât have it,â Feyd gives him an insincere smile.
âExcuse me?â
âDonât question me. Iâll-,â Feyd stops when he sees you enter the room, scanning the crowd for the prince in front of him. âI donât want to see you around her again, for the rest of the night and for the rest of your life, however long that may be,â Feyd tells him before walking away, not giving Prince Killian a chance to say anything else.
Prince Killian gulps as he watches Feyd leave. He decides it would be the wisest to listen to your brother and leave you alone. Princes Killian goes up to his mother to tell him he doesnât feel well and that he wants to leave. His mother is upset, but agrees to leave.Â
You donât see him leave the room as you continue to look around, but Feyd does. He stops a smirk from forming on his face as he joins his father in another conversation.Â
Your heart drops once you donât find Prince Killian anywhere. After all, he did promise to find you after your mother was done with you. Did you really read him wrong? Did he not like you just like the other men you had met throughout the night? Was there something wrong with you?
Tears form in your eyes as you begin to doubt yourself, but you quickly hold them back, not wanting to be seen crying in public. You go to find your mother once again to tell her that you were ready to leave. The whole evening had basically been a complete waste of your time. Your mother notices the difference in your mood, but doesnât question as goes to ask the car to be brought around and gather Feyd and your father.
You spent that night locked in your room crying, feeling defeated. Your mother came to talk to you, but you didnât open the door, feeling too embarrassed to explain. It was your fault for getting your hopes up in the first place, wasnât it? A couple of your favorite ladyâs maids also came by to check on you and asked from the other side of the door if there was anything you could do, but at the moment there wasnât.
You stayed in that gloomy mood for the next couple of days before deciding it was time to get over it. You were a Harkonnen, after all.
About a week later, you were sitting in the library reading like you usually do at some point in the day. Today though, you were interrupted by your mother barging through the library doors with an unpleasant expression on her face, her gown flowing with her steps with your brother not too far behind. You thought you had done something wrong, causing you to replay the past few days in your mind, but you couldnât find the problem.
Thatâs because you werenât the problem.
âMother, I donât think this is necessary. Thereâs no need to get her upset all over again,â Feyd says. Is that panic in his voice?
Your mother holds up her hand to stop him from saying anything else.
Feyd had walked past your room several times, hearing your cries flood out of your room. He would stop outside of your door and wondered if he should knock and go talk to you, but each time he decided not to. He wasnât a fan of hearing you in pain, but he figured there was no use in saying anything because the damage was done.
It got to the point where he felt guilty so he decided to confess to his mother what he had done, not thinking she would react this way. Though when the words fell out of his mouth, she was fuming; she had every right to be.
âTell her what you just told me, or I will,â your mother glares at Feyd.Â
You look between them in confusion, deciding it was best to put your book aside. Feydâs jaw tensed as he stared his mother down, not really wanting to say it aloud again. He finally gives into her gaze and looks away.
âFeyd?â you question as you watch the wheels turn inside his head.
He shakes his head as if to shake the thought away, but of course it remains. Might as well just get it over with.
âThe reason why Prince Killian didnât return to you that night at the ball, or any of the men that had approached you, was because of me,â Feyd tells you. You canât see it, but his fists are clenched behind his back.
âTell her how you threatened them to never go near her again,â your mother tells him. Your eyes widen as you look over at your brother who seemed to be uncomfortable.Â
Feyd lets out a frustrated sigh before looking you in the eye. âItâs true.â
You donât know whether to be angry or relieved. âAll this time I thought it was my fault, but it was you?â you ask, but itâs honestly more of a statement. Feyd nods in response.
âWhat do you have to say for yourself?â your mother asks him, and Feyd avoids her gaze.
âIâm sorry,â he tells you, and he means it no matter how hard it was for him to say it. You can tell also, but that doesnât make it all better.
âAnd?â your mother prods, her arms folded across her chest.Â
âI will make it right, if you will let me, of course,â he says.
And he did. The next day Prince Killian had arrived at your home, by the request of your father, knowing he wouldnât come if it was Feyd who had asked. You werenât entirely thrilled because you werenât sure if he would still feel the same towards you, if there were any feelings there in the first place. Your worry quickly turned into happiness as the two of you reconnected with Prince Killian telling you what you wanted to hear.
Your mother and father watched from afar as he bent down to kiss your hand before standing straight again, your hand still in his. Feyd was also there beside them, not entirely pleased with the sight in front of him, but as long as you were happy he would have to learn to deal with it. Of course if Prince Killian ever decided to hurt you or stop pursuing you, he would have to take matters into his own hands.
âThis is the man, huh?â your father asks with a tilt of his head.Â
It brought Feyd joy that his father was also unsure about the man standing in front of you.
âWould you both quit it and be happy for her,â your mother scowled at them both before fixing her face as you turned around to face your family.
