"Sweetheart, it's time to get up," Larissa tickled your sides softly, waking you up to thousands of snowflakes falling from the sky out the window. "It's snowing outside and I've made hot cocoa,"
"Wait it's snowing??" You quickly sat up, swinging your legs off the side of the bed to go look closer at the beautiful sight outside. "Larissa, look!" You beamed, placing your hand up against the cold window, leaving a slight print in its wake.
"I noticed that," Larissa chuckled, walking swiftly to stand next to you as you looked on with childlike wonder, secretly adoring your endearing nature.
"Ohhh I have an idea! We should wear those matching sweaters and go outside! There's enough of the stuff to make footprints!" You explained your idea, sharply and excitedly turning your head to look at your wife lovingly.
"I love that, that sounds delightful," The platinum blonde placed her hand over her other, holding her hands in front of her chest in the regal manner she always held.
"I'll go get them!" You beamed, running over to your closet and pulling out your matching Christmas sweaters, tossing the larger one to Larissa whilst you quickly got changed.
Larissa simply laughed as she caught the sweater, putting it over her tank top and slipping on a pair of leggings after removing her shorts.
After a couple of minutes of you two changing your clothes, you both walked into the kitchen to get the hot chocolates that Larissa had made.
"This is so good 'Rissa!" You smiled as the warmth of the cocoa filled your body, smacking your lips when you had finished your swig.
"I made it just how you like it, I'm glad it was up to your standards," Larissa looked at you, nodding softly in your direction.
"Anything you make is up to my standards, you know that," You laughed, taking another sip and relishing in the warmth that the drink brought you.
Larissa smiled, drinking out of her glass before placing it on the counter and looking at you.
"Hm, I must thank you, sweetheart," She said, taking a marshmallow in between her nimble fingers and placing the soft confection in her mouth, making sure to swallow before continuing to speak. "You've allowed me to take a break from my work, and that's helped me more than you'll know,"
"It's no problem 'Rissa, I wanted to make sure your Christmas was as good as possible, that can't happen when you have a bunch of work that you're forcing yourself to do," You replied sincerely, your eyes never moving from your hot chocolate.
Larissa smiled, glancing out the window to observe the snow before changing her vision to look at you.
"The snow has piled up, and I've checked the weather. It's not going to stop until tonight. Would you like to go outside now, sweetling?" The older woman asked, holding her gloved hand out for you to take.
You nodded excitedly, wrapping your hand around your wife's and using your other hand to open the door, shivering slightly at the cold blasted in your faces.
"Chilly," You giggled, stepping into the snow, watching with excitement as you and Larissa left a trail of footprints the further you walked into the white blanket that magically covered the yard.
"That it is, but I think the cold is beautiful," The platinum blonde spoke, her British accent as alluring to you as sugar is to a fly.
You remained silent, preferring to gaze up at your wife with an adoring expression, your eyes focusing on every beautiful detail on her.
The small crow's feet that formed at her eyes, the smile lines that formed around her supple red lips, her ice-blue eyes that sparkled at the beauty of the falling snow, her soft and regal hands that caught the snowflakes she admired, and the expression of pure joy on her face felt like something magical to you.
"Sweetling?" She broke you out of your thoughts, "You're staring again," Larissa smirked, bopping you on your nose.
You squeaked, your sudden noise turning into a full-on laugh as you covered your nose with one of your hands.
"You're adorable, you know that darling?" The blue-eyed woman remarked, lowering her hands to hold yours.
You chuckled.
"Well thank you, baby," You replied, squeezing her hands softly before pulling them away.
You ran over to a nearby tree, making a tiny snowman out of the piles of snow around the plant. You shivered slightly as some of the tiny crystals melted in your palms, leaving them wet and chilly, but not enough to stop you from enjoying the creation you were making.
Larissa walked up behind you, watching each of your movements closely.
'They're such a dear,' The blonde thought, tapping you on the shoulder once you were done building.
You turned around with a curious expression, only to see your wife holding her hand out to you.
"May I have this dance?" She asked with a soft smile.
You nodded eagerly, grabbing her hand to pull yourself up, giggling as she spun you around and held you in her arms.
"Of course, M'lady," You chuckled, your feet moving in synch with hers, the snow falling around you as graceful as your movements.
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, you know that?" Larissa hummed, spinning you around gently and gently, watching with sharp eyes as she took in all of your features that were highlighted by the snowflakes dusted on top of them.
"You know that you're the best thing that's happened to me, right?" You asked in reply, twirling the taller woman around before dipping, causing her to laugh (and for you to blush).
"I guess we agree then," She laughed, pressing your lips together with a smile.
"I guess we are," You looked at her, twirling yourself into her embrace.
The two of you swayed in the wind, your cheeks reddening each time she placed a kiss on your forehead.
You laid your head back against her chest, feeling her heart against the back of your head.
"I love you, Rissa," You sighed, shutting your eyes.
"I love you too Y/n, more than life itself," Larissa replied, spinning you to face her before kissing your nose.

You groaned, rubbing the bridge of your nose as you tried to open the main exit of the castle despite knowing that it was blocked by snow. Continuing to pull the handle, you fell back, your ass hitting the cold marble floor and electing a grunt from you.
"Damn it-" You grumbled, dusting off your uniform as you stood up. "It's not even budging," You sighed, placing your bag on the floor as you texted your friends an apology.
"Hm?" Alcina looked up from her book, her golden eyes following you from her sight in the living room where she sat with the rest of her daughters, who were all doing their separate activities. "Bela, go check up on them," She ordered, watching her oldest daughter run up to you to interrogate.
"Y/n?" Bela tapped you on the shoulder, looking down at you with curiosity. "What's wrong?"
"Oh- Miss Bela, it's nothing. I'm just unable to get out, I think we're snowed in," You smiled.
Alcina, who was overhearing the conversation, stood up swiftly and made her way to you.
"Is that so?" Her Romanian accent filled your ears as you felt the light around you be blocked out by her large figure. "Did you have somewhere you needed to be?"
You laughed nervously, nodding.
"Yes, I did. I informed my friends I was stuck though," You spoke, tilting your head up to look at the maiden. "I can find a hotel if you wouldn't mind me escaping out a window?"
The older woman furrowed her eyebrows, licking her lips slowly as if she was looking as if she was observing her next dinner.
"No," She spoke loudly, causing a shiver to go straight down your spine. "You will stay right here, in your quarters. I'm not allowing you to stay in a place of unfamiliarity for the holidays,"
You blushed softly, waving your hands in front of you.
"Please My Lady, I'll be alright!" You attempted to assure her, only to be met with more refusal.
"Absolutely not. It is freezing outside, and even though you may be human, I'm not letting you get frozen out there," The golden-eyed woman commanded, extending her claws to tap the floor below her. "You will stay right here,"
You whimpered, not wanting to defy her.
"Yes, My Lady, I'll return to my room," You nodded, picking up your bag and walking out toward the hallway where your room resided.
Once you had finally left, Alcina turned to Bela.
"Bela, make them some hot cocoa and invite them out here," She spoke.
"Mom, you're the one in love with them, you have to make the moves," The blonde squeezed her mother's hand before returning to her book in the living room.
You weren't sure why your room was bigger than the other maids, but you didn't mind the extra space. Your room was beautifully decorated, illuminated with golden candles, and dressed in a Roman Gothic style.
The walls had been lined with intricate wall hangings that were a mix of red and black, with golden flourishes at the corners. The curtains had been thick and dark crimson velvet, the floors had been mahogany and well polished until they shone. A large bed dominated the room, with two heavy dark wood tables and desks on either side, lined with books and scrolls. Across from the bed had been a large desk, the same dark wood as the tables. A large desk lamp had been sat on the desk, with a large mirror leaning against the wall nearby.
A sudden knock came from the door, pausing your movements of putting away your belongings.
"Y/n?" Alcina's voice said, slightly muffled by the large door blocking you two.
"Oh! My Lady, please come in!" You replied, smiling as the vampire made her presence apparent in your room.
"Would you like to come and sit with me? I'd hate for you to be alone," The black-haired lady smiled.
You paused, was the woman you loved inviting you to be with her?
"O-Of course," You chuckled nervously, your tone way too breathy and lovesick for your liking.
"Good, meet me out there in 30,"
After you had returned your belongings to your room, you exited out towards the living room. The walls of the room had been lined with darkly stained panels, painted in a warm, deep shade of red, and decorated with intricate golden details. The floor was mahogany, polished until it shone, even in the dim light of the candles that decorated the center of the room. Across the way, a long table was covered in a rich and expensive velvet couch, and a pair of armchairs. A heavy wooden shelf was mounted on the rear wall, lined with darkly tinted glass bottles, and filled with rare and expensive wines.
"My Lady?" You asked Alcina, slightly startling her.
"Oh! Y/n, Draga Mea, please sit," Alcina gestured to the empty spot next to her.
You nodded, sitting down next to her as you pulled up a book she had recommended to you a couple of months ago.
"Ah, I see you're finally reading it," The vampire smiled, wrapping her arm around your waist and pulling you against her, leaving you red-faced.
"Yes, I've been meaning to," You replied, flipping a page.
Alcina remained silent, watching your every move with her sharp golden eyes with a pink tint forming on her otherwise pale skin.
You felt safe around the lady, you felt as if all your worries were gone, and you felt...warm. You weren't sure how to say it, but something inside you said that you didn't need to, and that she already knew.
"Merry Christmas Draga Mea," The vampire squeezed your side.
"Merry Christmas My lady," You smiled.
"You know I have a surprise for you,"
"What is it?" You asked, eyes falling mainly to your feet as you were to embarrassed to look anywhere else.
Alcina pulled you in for a soft and sweet kiss, her hands finding their way to your cheeks.
"I love you," Alcina confessed with a soft and weak smile, a chuckle escaping her lips as you blush.
"My Lady...I love you too," You replied with a breathy and shaky voice, looking up at her in both shock and love.
"Alcina," She corrected you,
"Huh?"
"Call me Alcina," The taller woman pecked you softly on your lips. "After all, if we love each other that much, we should be on a first-name basis. Right?"
You nodded, laying your head on her shoulder as she hoisted you up on her lap.
Maybe being stuck in a castle for the holidays wasn't so bad after all...

Words didn't describe how nervous you were as you fumbled with the ring box in your hand. Proposal? It seemed good in thought and writing, but attempting to do that was nearly impossible without some nervousness or fear.
You were yet to find the ring to fill the box, and you were standing right in front of a collection of rings, but none of them you found were perfect enough for Morticia.
"Hello there, do you need any help?" A young woman asked, leaning over the glass to face you.
"Yes, do you have any black diamond rings?" You asked, tapping your thumb against each of your fingers as an anxiety relief.
"Black diamond rings...?" The woman pondered, sinking to her knees as she looked for them.
You stood there for a minute, watching her dig around, looking for the ring.
"I'm sorry, all we have is this one," She frowned, handing you a diamond ring.
You took it in your hands, examining it closely. The ring was split into three separate bands, the first band was black and coated in black diamonds, the second was a gold band with regular diamonds, and the third was a full gold ring with a giant black diamond.
"I love it...holy..." You gasped, handing her your credit card, "I'm taking it,"
"Wonderful!" The shorter woman beamed, scanning your credit card and handing you a bag, which you denied.
"I'm alright, I've got the perfect case for it," You chuckled, placing the ring(s) inside the black velvet box that had a small gold foil rose design on top.
"Good luck, I hope they say yes!" She encouraged you, waving you goodbye as you walked away.
"Hello there Ma bien-aimée, what are you looking at?" Morticia approached you, her black dress draping perfectly behind her.
"Hey there Mi Reina," You smiled, hiding the ring box in your pocket before turning around and kissing her on her lips, pulling her by her waist and dipping her.
Morticia laughed, standing back up and twirling you around.
"You didn't answer me," She smirked, tossing some of her long black hair behind her back.
"You'll see eventually, you know. You really should learn to be more patient 'Tish," You remarked.
The ravenette rolled her eyes, walking off.
"I can wait a couple of days, I waited years for you~" She winked, blowing you a kiss.
You sat alone in the rain, holding an umbrella with the black box in your palm behind your back.
"You asked for me Mon Amour?" Morticia smiled, walking up to you without an umbrella, preferring to enjoy the weather around her.
"You got a rainy Christmas, Tish," You stalled, preparing for what you were about to say, fiddling with the velvet box.
"I did. It's the best Christmas I could have asked for!" She replied.
"May I do the honors and make it better?" You asked, taking a deep breath.
The ravenette nodded, looking at you curiously but also with a smug undertone.
"Of course, after all, you still have yet to give me a Christmas present," She teased.
You rolled your eyes, dropping your knee to the wet ground and holding the ring up to her vision.
"Morticia, you've made me so happy, I-I didn't even know how to express it in a simple speech. I got this ring with only you in my mind, as my girlfriend, will you change my thoughts and make me think of you as my wife?" You asked, tears brimming in your eyes.
The older woman froze, her hands coming up to cover her mouth.
"Oh...Oh Cara Mia," She cried, hugging you tightly, making you lose grasp of your umbrella as she pulled you into a kiss.
It felt warm like it always did, but her excitement only made it ten times better.
"Is that a yes?" You chuckled through tears.
Morticia nodded.
"It is Mon Cherie, it is," She kissed you once again, the cold rain on your bodies making the scene all the more romantic for you two.
