YES, This!
YES, this!
When I took an upper division U.S.S.R. history for a gen ed in college, it was very clear that the U.S.S.R. was not communism. If anything it was authoritarianism performing communism.
I believe communism is the way to do things, but that it cannot be attained before socialism. The society and culture must forget capitalism before communism can come. There needs to be at least two generations of socialism, or enough that all the people who have grown up capitalist have grown old and passed.
All of us who live in capitalism, we think in capitalist ways even if we are not capitalists. We have to for right now, that is how one survives here. Kurt Vonniget's old fish asking the young how the water feels, and the young fish asking the other "what the hell is water?". Capitalism is all around us, it's hard to notice just how much of our lives is "wet" with it. Just how mush we've adapted to it.
In the USSR people still thought with the old frameworks. For them it was feudalism and some capitalism. Now it would be capitalism. A lot of us would struggle to truely grasp living in a communist society, because we've only ever lived in capitalism and the two are radically different. We may be able to picture the day to day but not the underlying systems.
Like transportation. You may initially think "oh, stateless classless money less society. No money, so you don't pay for gas to put in your car" but a truely communist city would probably have communal transportation, a robust system of busses and trains. Or if they did have cars, the way gas would be distributed would be different. Instead of individual convenience story or gas stations, it would be some city-run thing that you could vote on. Because the people are in charge of these things. You, as a city or district, would get to decide how many bus routs, how many feeling stations, how they are placed, things like that.

Nothing is off topic when it comes to us, happy pride month, my fellow asexuals 💜

it came to me in a moment of clarity
Me and my partner are both on the ace spectrum. We're both verrrrryyyyyy horny.
They haven't really articulated their feelings, which is understand because it's hard to do, but I am demi. I won't be genuinely interested in someone until I know them. I might look, some people look nice, but I won't feel the need to approach and I usually won't accept advances. Hell, I usually can't even tell if people are pretty unless I think on it for a minute. Except for my pookie, pookie is very very pretty (not that they'll admit it).
The simplest way I describe myself is nonbinary aromantic asexaul, but in a gay man way.
The specific way is demimasc-nonbinary, androsexual demiaroace. At least, those are the labels.
I'm a queer liminal space
I am so tired of asexuals being boxed into the "sweet naive child not needs to be shielded away from sex"
what I am trying to say with poll is that Allosexual (a term for non asexual people) if you meet someone who is asexual don't just atomatically assume they are sex repulsed instead ask if you are shy here is a prompt
"hey I noticed that in your bio you said are asexual/on the ace spectrum and I just want to know what are comfortable with before I send you risky memes/jokes I want to honor your boundaries as a friend because I respect you. I am only asking this because I myself am not asexual but I realize that is is a very broad spectrum and want make sure I don't make you uncomfortable by maybe sending risky memes about character we both like"
Oh and we do do the do

For all my beloved mutuals who might need it
