Black hole 

“I’m surprised your parents let you come Nyx”I say. I grab some fries off Daniela’s plate and she glares  at me. “I know we’re only 13 and they didn’t think we should go out by ourselves.”Nyx tell us. I smirk placing the fries into my mouth. “Oh look it Andrew.” Nyx smiles. I try to speak but the saltines of the fries make me choke. As I choke Krel pats my back glaring behind us. “I don’t understand why you like him? He’s an ass.” He tells me.

After I finish choking I look at Krel. “I don’t like him I just think he’s hot.” I replie. Krel rolls his eyes and looks away from me. “I’m hot why can’t you like me. I’d be ten times better than him!” Krel practically yells. Before I can answer I hear Daniela scream. I turn to her and she pointing out the window. A crowd gathers right as I get the and I gasp. A large hole is in the sky. The hole melts black with the blue sky. The black hole sucks things into it cars and people.

If it wasn’t destroying thing I would have called it beautiful, and most likely painted it. I feel Krel grab my hand and pull me. Everything blurs together and all I hear is screaming. Krel throws me behind and car and we hid. I watch as Daniela and Nyx cry and then I hear it. A babies cry. I look over the car and see a stroller right in the middle of cover by a blockade of cars. I look over to Krel shoes trying to calm down the girls. “No! No Y/n don’t do what I think you’re about to do!” Krel yells.

I sigh and move over to Nyx and Daniela. I kiss both there for heads with a sad smile. I move over to Krel about to kiss his forehead but he grab a my hand. “Don’t” is all he says. I kiss his forehead and pull my hand away. “Someone has to help” I sigh. I stand and run as the black hole sucks things into it. I fall as something cuts my leg. I pull myself up and ran. I jump over the cars blocking the stroller. I grabbed the baby out and he gurgles at me with a smile. I laugh and sit on the ground. He has curly white hair with chocolate brown eyes.

He grabs  my nose and stand l holding him. Krel looks up from the car and cries as he sees me with the baby. I hear him scream and I feel like I’m floating and Krel runs out from the car leaving Nyx and Daniela. I know it’s too late I wat h as I fly over the ground and above. I hold the baby close to my body and I close my eyes. And for I moment nothing. No noise. No light. No nothing. I hear a mighty voice say “We are one.”

……….

Then it ended. There a blinding light infront of me. I see a women with red hair, brown eyes, and in a lab coat. “Hey eyes on me.” She speaks softly. A flashlight is placed in my eyesight and I blink. “Ow that hurts” I say trying to stand. With help of the lady. I stand and pause. “Where my baby!” I question. A man with short brown hair and brown eyes comes into my view holding him. I rush over and grab my-the baby. He smiles as he grabs my nose again.

“How did I get here. Where is here”I ask anyone. “Well you short stack just appeared through a black hole that opened in the lab.” A man in a military uniform and a scar on the side of his head says. I notice other military people have their hands on their guns. I pull him closer to me and glare at all the soldiers. “Hum we think you’re from Earth 2. I’m Grace by the way. The man you just blatantly told you you fell into the lab is Colonel Quaritch” Grace tells me.

“Earth 2?” I ask. Grace smiles at me. “Your Earth was swallowed by a black hole two weeks ago.” Grace says apologetically. My mouth forms a o shape. I feel tears fall from my eyes and I look away from everyone. My world was gone. Everything I had ever was gone. “How am I alive? How are we alive?” I ask. Graces faces falls and she sigh.

“We don’t know. You see your planet is right next to our Earth. Our frequencies are off a little. We couldn’t warn you about what was about to happen because no matter what we did we couldn’t get into your earths atmosphere. By some miracle you survived made it here. I’m Max by the way.” Max tells me.

“Short stack what’s that in your hair?” Colonel Quaritch questions. I move the the baby to my chest with my one hand. With my other hand I grab at my hair. I move my h/c to the side and pul out my white hair. I was born with h/c and white hair. “My hair Sir.” I say. I look over to Grace. “Where am I?” I repeat my question.

A small little girl with ash blond locks can be seen standing in the shadows. A woman with cinnamon brown hair, and gold eyes is yelling at a man and woman. The man had black hair and ruby eyes was yelling back. The final woman had mocha brown hair and artic eyes was screaming back. The little girl just stood and watch the fight. Tilting her head she begins to walk to the artic eyed woman. Only to be backhanded onto the floor. 

The little girl got up from the ground with the help of a man with black hair, and the tips of his hands black. The man wipes the tears from the little girls face. The man whisperers 

“Odette”.

 An older version of the little girl woke with a start. The girl known as Odette stared at her lap, hands pulling her hair. Feeling a hand on her arm she jumps up. Looking up all she sees is her foster brother Toby. The concerned look on Toby’s face was all she needed to see, Odette knew she needed to clam down. Breathing in and out her ash blond hair goes in her face. Moving her bangs to the side her forest green eyes meet Toby’s emerald eyes. A smile graces her face as she pulls her hair.

“Good morning too you too Toby.” Odette yawns. Stretching a sun beam shines in her face. Flinching she squints, opening her eye she see the window open. Confused Odette looks at Toby but he just smiles and hands her a gift bag. Tilting her head she opens the bag. In the bag is a black tennis skirt, grey short sleeve shirt, and a pair of black converse. Looking at Toby with a smile Odette hugs Toby.

“Thank you Toby this is very nice” Odette exclaims. 

“No problem. I just thought you would want a new outfit for your first day of real high school. Nana helped me pick out the outfit, I don’t really know what your fashion look is but I thought this was a good start. Plus we have to go get Jimbo from his house. Remember him I told you all about him.” Toby explains. 

Nodding her head Odette gets out of bed and goes to the bathroom. Odette cleans her hair, washes her face, brushes her teeth, and does her hair. Odette pulls her hair into a ponytail then braids it loosely. Walking out of the bathroom Odette goes to the kitchen. Toby throws her an apple and the pair walk out the door. 

As they get to the garage Toby puts in the passcode. As Odette grabs her skateboard Toby grabs his bike. They make there way across the road to see a boy cleaning up garbage. As the two talk Odette just stands there shuffling. The raven haired boy looks at Odette confused.

“Toby who is this”Jim states pointing at Odette confused. “Oh that’s Odette my new sister” Toby beams putting an arm around her shoulder. Odette just smiles quickly, then the smile disappears and she just looks at the floor.

“I’m James but everyone calls me Jim. So your staying with Toby, umm yo-you look really nice.” Jim blurts. As Jim gets a good look at her he sees the small ring of pure black around her forest green eyes.  Odette’s rose pink lips. The dark circles under her eyes, the light flush to her cheeks. The way some strands of her ash blond hair fall out of her braid. 

“Oh here Toby I made lunch sorry I didn’t make you one if I had known”Jim starts. A light chuckle comes from Odettes lips. “I’m a pescatarian, and you made meatloaf. Don’t worry let’s go to school, or we’ll be late.” Odette giggles.

As the Jim and Toby ride bikes Odette skateboards next to Jim. Jim notices that she is falling behind so he stops. Titling her head Odette looks at Jim confused, but he just motions her to grab the back of his bike. As the group get closer to the canal Jim forgets Odette is holding on and he jumps into the canal. A smirk comes on her face as she does a flip with her board and lands near Jim. 

Jim looks at Odette with an odd look when her remembers that she was riding on the back of his bike. “ODETTE I’M SO SORRY I FORGOT THAT YOU WERE HOLDING ON TOO MY BIK- do you hear that. Is someone calling our names” Jim questions. A shocked look comes over Odettes face and she nods her head. The pair looks around and notice a pile of rock. Slowly the two walk over to it.
