Idia is not going anywhere, you hear me?! You might be happy being the other woman, but I'm not happy with the pair of horns!

Idia knows he's not frozen like the others, but honestly, he feels like it. He feels like even his lungs, even his heart has stopped. All because of this cute-faced npc who forced her way into a romance route with him. If he could think about it, he'd think about that horror game with the same story, but right now his mind is blank.

He has reached the point of no return. Actually dying would just reinforce his fate.

Or, at least, is what he thought. Almost as if answering to his thoughts, there's a loud noise coming from the other side of the doors, followed by footsteps.

Then the doors are thrown open by none other than (Y/N), the Ramshackle Housewarden that the school affectionately tends to call "Prefect".

She's dressed to the nines in a breathtaking wedding gown, the skirt pooling around her like God-Tier CGI, the blue accents contrasting beautifully with the pearly white of the dress, the blue roses decorating her head in a crown making her look like Persephone herself. She'd look perfect, if it weren't for the tear streaks her make-up left behind.

Wait. Tear streaks?

The silence breaks with the Prefects loud, shrill screech, a sound no one has ever thought she, the usually soft spoken and gentle Prefect, would be capable of.

"HOMEWRECKER!"

Without stopping to breath, she walks forwards, looking angrier and angrier each step taken.

"How dare you, you conniving bitch?! How dare you steal my groom! ON OUR WEDDING DAY?!" she screams at Eliza, stopping in the middle of the way to point at... at Idia himself?! "And you! You good-for-nothing two-timer! How dare you leave me waiting at the altar?!"

"Young man, I am terribly disappointed!" Professor Crewel chides from behind her, and Idia finally notices the group that actually came in with her. "I did not give you permission to marry my daughter, my first and only daughter, for you to break her heart on her happiest day!"

"Big brother! How could you! Think of your child!" Ortho chimes in, and if Idia hadn't built tear tracks on the boy himself, he would believe firmly in his tears. "Little Meg would be so sad if her daddy just left for another woman!"

"Idia, what is the meaning of this?!" it's Eliza's turn to screech, turning to him with fury in her eyes. Idia stutters a few random letters, trying to form words, just as confused as she is.

Until it clicks.

Right. Fake relationship. How could he forget one of the most cliche tropes in romance's history?

"I... I... t-this isn't what it looks like!" he finally manages to say, trying to look as desperate as he can, which is not hard considering what his fate is in case this plan fails. "I can explain!"

"Is it because of my past with Rook?! "

"Young man, you're still hung up on that, despite being the only man I've ever approved for my daughter?"

"What?!" someone yells in the crowd, but the man in question promptly enters the play as if he was born for this moment alone.

"Monsieur, I have told you this already, but I shall say it again! My dear dove's happiness is the most important to me! If she has chosen you, then my heart shall settle!" What the fuck, why is Rook so good at improv?

"I-I know!" calm down, Idia, think of this as a rhythm game and keep the beat going! "I don't... I don't want this, but this villainess wouldn't listen!"

"Wait, so this woman is telling the truth?!"

"This woman?! THIS WOMAN?! You mean his true bride?!" (Y/N) steps closer, fat crocodile tears rolling down her cheeks, smudging her make-up even more. "You- you- you husband-stealer! Know your place! You come into my house, you steal my groom and the father of my daughter-"

"I see no child-"

"Do you think I'd bring my child to see my husband's mistress?!"

"Big sister, calm down, think of the baby! Your stress levels are dangerously high!"

"WHAT BABY?!"

"Monsieur Shroud, if you do not fix this situation, I shall be taking my belle back! Do not worry, the children will not grow without a father!"

While Willam may seem like the type that doesn't want to get close to people, more like manipulate them and yeah, especially since I think of him as an military captain, especially since he always was the one with brains and brawn, but he, at times, wishes a genuine bond, especially since I may or may not planned for him to have fallen in love with Yuu's ancestor.

Yeah, blame that part on obey me-- Lilith and Solomon theory--

Also the funny fact is that I call William "Old geezer" or "Willy" "Old Hag" and the famous nickname I have for him is "Willy Wonka" djdjs

I did think of William, as at least some type of immortal human, but I am not sure how to categorise him.

William doesn't mind on how he is called by people, but he absolutely hated being called 'Captain Dalzell' as it reminds him of his failure and the part of his life that he wants to forget.

Since he met Yuu's ancestor, he started to think of people as people, not some tools, he genuinely wants to have a bond with someone.

William would definitely enjoy Eden's presence and he would genuinely want the best of Eden, as Eden is your Yuu, and because I absolutely adore Eden sjsj. William may have some moments when he falls back on his old personality and habits, but he quickly snaps out of it, as he made a promise to Yuu's ancestor.

And I am still not sure about William's age, yes I made him old, but I am not sure how old I want him to be.

Sometimes when I am bored I think of William as Venti from Genshin and Blitzo from Helluva Boss and out beloved Undertaker just cuz ✨️I like their vibes and I need kind of crack✨️ and Undertaker + Venti were also a little bit of inspiration for him!

[My Hu Tao + Venti + Ei Kinning ass be like: Yes, I like this *makes William an oc*]

In general, I want their dynamic to more of family like, but also William is a character that I love a lot and he is one of the characters I had a dream about and made into a real oc.

I'm ranting aren't I? Jdjd well hope this gives an understanding to him??

I wonder, if my oc, William, would meet Eden, how would that go? Especially since both are kinda inspired by Chernabog-

I mean- funny answer: Spider-Man pointing meme asshjgks but for real ooogh I feel like they could have some interesting interactions since they’re both kind of mysterious but in very different ways,,,

I find the relationship William has to Yuu super interesting and can totally imagine it with Eden (since he’s my version of Yuu) I’m excited to see what you do with your fanfic idea for William!

It might depend on how William chooses to behave towards Eden. He seems very cool and imposing- but unless he gets super aggressive or standoffish that won’t bother Eden ‘beast tamer’ Grey much. We are talking about a person (fresh from another dimension) who had no problem scruffing a fire breathing cat monster, sharing a dorm with ghosts, or befriending the ominous horned dragon man lurking around the Ramshackle grounds at night!

I like to imagine Eden as having a curious ‘charm’ affect on others, especially monsters and other supernatural beings as a nod to Chernabog’s ability to seemingly summon ghosts and demons etc. So there’s the possibility William might find him similarly soothing to be around (depending on if you think his charm would affect William or not of course!)

It seems like William is very good at getting people to trust him if he wants to and he certainly would have no trouble with Eden. Seven help William if he decides to be openly friendly or supportive towards Eden (congratulations, William, you are now an adoptive big brother figure! Have fun with your new magicless sidekick and their talking cat :3 )

Once you’ve befriended Eden there’s no shaking them, outside of actively choosing to hurt or betray him (even then maybe not, he forgives a bit too easily) and while he can’t do much to retaliate against being wronged, his distress might summon a very displeased dragon prince…

Obviously William is the much cooler and more powerful Chernabog figure and kinda makes Eden look like a disappointing descendant- like a tiger shaking his head while he watches a domesticated cat run around askgjks,,,

I totally think Eden would love William and find himself drawn to him the same way he is with Malleus and Lillia. Eden has a thing for anything old, spooky, and eccentric!

Also Eden would absolutely affectionately shorten his name to ‘Will’ unless William voiced a strong dislike for it. I can also picture William calling Eden ‘lil devil’ like Lillia dose for some reason, just vibes I guess <3

[as for my dorm leader au Eden,,, he would avoid William at all costs. He's only a house warden by technicality and is trying not to draw any attention to himself his first year on NRC’s infamous campus- especially when it comes to powerful seeming guys like William! But they would probably bond over both having a soft spot for Yuu and become cordial at the very least.

ACTUALLY with William in that au I could see him being the Chernabog dorm leader and maybe Eden as his new vice warden!! Maybe I should draw William in the Chernabog dorm uniform when I finish designing it! :3 ]

His smile was everything Yuu ever wanted to see. He deserved this moment and the love behind the gift, after all loneliness is something no one should ever face, and Yuu wanted to make sure that their Tsunataro won't experience that ever again.

His lips curled up in a soft smile as he spoke "Thank you, Child of Man." With one hand he held the gift and the other moved to lift up Yuu's head as he leaned in and softly kissed their forehead. The (s/c) skinned human blushed at the gesture but flashed a smile to the fae prince.
