Help Me Pls!! I've Been Trying To Find This Fic I Read A While Back For Abt 30 Min Or So. It Was A Bts
help me pls!! i've been trying to find this fic i read a while back for abt 30 min or so. it was a bts fic.
so what i remember is bts were shifters and also emperors? and they were all a pack. obvi this is in a historical au. and i can't think of which one of the members it was but one of them was sick and just not themself. so they call for a healer (??) to come to their empire and help with this. that is yn! she stays there and he gets better and better but once its time to leave, they've all got pretty attached to her. and she can't really stay with them bc the group she's in would disown her? idk y. uhh i also remember there being a scene where her and another one of them are attacked by an assassin and she turns into her wolf form that i think she didnt know she had bc she was human. but her wolf form is huge and white with scars. she protects him and the boys come and are confused abt who this is, uhh idk what else.
i hope some can help and i hope this has given enough information to find it or know what it is!! tysm<3

Boyfriend for Hire
BTS Ot7 x Reader
First Night Home from the Hospital
Okay, not gonna lie. The number of times I squealed while writing this one is insane. I melted at my own fluff lmao. I didn't realize just how much I missed writing for this universe 😭

“Jimin, he doesn’t hate you. He’s just a baby. He doesn’t even know what hate is.” I giggled, taking a kicking and wailing Sujin from his arms.
“But he does! Look at him!” Jimin pouted as our baby immediately calmed down the second he was in my hold. “You can’t tell me that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. I’m literally the only person he’ll cry about holding him.”
“Well, you’ve only been a dad for a few days. He’ll get used to you.”
The title seemed to lift his spirits some. Spark reignited as he turned on his heel towards the hallway where Namjoon had disappeared moments ago with the second twin.
“I’m going to find Yejoon. At least I know he likes me.”
I rolled my eyes but couldn’t keep the smile off my face as I cooed at the peacefully sleeping bundle in my arms. We were finally given the all clear to leave the hospital. The extra tests running a little longer than what they normally would have considering we had two bouncing baby boys rather than one. That, and having one of the dads as a doctor meant he was particularly anal about making sure everything was fine and both of them were healthy as can be. Along with me. Jin had hardly let me out of his sight for the duration of our time there.
The man had been glued to me until work forced him away and even then he didn’t loiter with his colleagues. He made sure he was back at my side the second he could get away with it. The attachment to me and the babies was a strong one. And I wondered if it was going to make it harder for him to return to work at the end of the next couple of weeks.
“We’re going to have to buy new car seats. I don’t trust those ones.”
Speak of the devil. Jin kicked the front door closed behind him with his heel, arms full of all the gifts we had received at the hospital for the new arrivals. He set them down on the couch, eyes finding mine before flickering down to the little one in my arms. His expression practically melted, eyes glimmering as he approached.
“He’s quiet now.” He whispered, hand reaching up to slip the beanie Sujin had one a little further over his forehead.
“Jimin’s convinced he hates him.” I told him with a wry smile, looking away from our son long enough to peek up at Jin through my lashes.
“Jimin’s sensitive. He’s not used to having someone not fall at his feet.” Jin scoffed. “Where’s Yejoon?”
“Kidnapped.” A deep voice grumbled behind us.
I turned, not at all surprised to see Namjoon moseying his way back down the hallway empty handed.
“I never get time with him. Jimin or Taehyung are always stealing him from me.”
“Because you’re too soft and let them.” I grinned, opting to let him hold Sujin.
Namjoon took his other son happily. Sujin hardly stirring at the transfer in embrace, his little pouty lips smacked together in his sleep, not even aware as one of his fathers gushed over him.
“Are Hoseok and Yoongi on their way back?” I asked.
Jin nodded. “Yeah they were about five minutes away when I called them.”
“Good. I’m starving.” Jungkook mumbled, shuffling into the living area looking tired and disheveled.
His feet carried him to me, kissing my temple.
“Sleep well?” I asked, tilting my face up to his.
He accepted the invitation, moving his lips from my temple to my lips to kiss me tenderly.
“Wonderfully.”
Jungkook was just as bad Jin has been. Hardly leaving my side the entire hospital stay and barely sleeping. Any time he attempted to catch some shut eye, one small sound from one of the twins and he’d be up, checking on them diligently. His eyes moved from mine to look over my shoulder, a soft smile forming on his lips as he made his way over to Namjoon and Sujin. I was tempted to send Jin off to do the same. Even planned on it after dinner. Which had arrived just in time as the familiar beep of the horn outside caught all our attention.
“I’ll go help them.” Jin volunteered, already on his way towards the door.
Not really having anything better to do with myself since both of my sons were currently occupied, I followed. Waiting by the door as a beaming Hoseok emerged from the driver’s side.
“We’re back!” He announced, blowing me a kiss.
“Just in time! I think a few of us were about ready to turn into gremlins.” I laughed, holding a hand out to take some of Yoongi’s load as he made his way to the door.
He let me have one of the paper sacks, insisting he had the rest of it. I stepped aside to let him pass, waiting on the other two so I could close the door behind them.
“Sorry to make you go get takeout. I thought everyone would be a little too tired to want to cook though.”
“Don’t apologize.” Hobi shook his head, planting a quick kiss on my lips. “You’ve given me the most important job I could ever hope for. The least I can do is grab you some fast food.”
“Cheese head.” I giggled, bumping his shoulder with mine to nudge him along.
I closed the door after them, steps carrying me towards the kitchen where the rest of them were headed just as Taehyung came barreling down the hall. His gaze landed on mine, a heavy pout settled over his lips as the bottom one jutted out exaggeratedly.
“We need another one.”
I lifted an eyebrow, opening my paper bag to view its contents as I answered.
“We need another what?”
“Baby.”
If I looked at him like he was crazy, then Yoongi looked at him like he was certifiably insane.
“We just brought two home.” He reminded him, head tilting towards Jungkook who was now proudly holding Sujin.
“Yeah and I don’t get enough time with either of them having to share them with you all.” He whined. “Just two more. That’s all I ask.”
I looked at him dubiously. Shaking my head amused.
“Tae, I know you well enough to know that you don’t mean ‘just two more’.”
“No, I swear! We can actively try for two more and then beyond that, what happens, happens.”
“Yeah I know what happens with you. You can’t help yourself.”
He laid a hand over his heart, eyes turning serious.
“I solemnly swear. If we can have two more babies, past that I will start pulling out.”
I burst out laughing. Hoseok unable to contain his laughter too as he nearly doubled over, falling into Yoongi at his side. Yoongi rolled his eyes, but I noticed the subtle lift of his lips as he tried to contain his amusement.
“Now that’s a bold-faced lie if I ever heard one.” Yoongi snorted, gathering the dishes he and Hoseok had brought to lay them out on the table.
Tamping down my laughter enough to speak, I opened my arms for him, batting my eyelashes.
“What about me Tae? Aren’t I enough for you anymore?”
If he had a tail, he’d be wagging it at this point. His eyes glittered with affection, dark curls bouncing as he ran towards me. He engulfed me in a hug, peppering kisses on my cheeks and nose.
“Of course you are. Just imagine all the little you’s that would be running around the house if we had more. Then I’d never have to go without some part of you at all hours of the day.” He boasted, attempting to really sell me on the idea of more babies.
“He just wants another reason to knock you up.” Jungkook smirked, shaking his head as he attempted to soothe Sujin who started to get fussy again.
“That’s not entirely true.” Taehyung pouted.
“Please. I heard you yesterday in the hall talking to Jimin about how much you already miss Y/N being pregnant.” Namjoon called him out.
“That is true.” Tae relented, shrugging. “I know it was probably miserable, but you looked so damn good.”
“We can talk about it later.” I smiled, patting his head. “For now, let’s eat and enjoy the little ones we have.”
As if on cue, a sharp cry came from the hallway. My instincts on high alert making me turn that direction just as Jimin emerged with Yejoon. His brother’s cries triggered Sujin’s, both of them wailing in turn.
“I think it’s dinner time for them too.”
“My turn to help!” Jungkook beamed, making room on the loveseat for me.
Jimin reached me as I settled on the couch. I tugged the straps of my top down, the embarrassment of exposing myself in front of them so nonchalantly long gone since I had been through this so many times already. Jimin handed Yejoon off first, helping him settle into my arms and latch on before Jungkook helped me into a comfortable position to let Sujin nurse too. Jin was quick to snag the open seat beside me, much to Jimin’s disappointment. Plate in hand already piled high with dinner.
“It’s only fair you get to eat too.” He stated, as if it were perfectly normal for him to feed me while our littles nursed.
Which, I guess now it was kind of normal. Each of them had taken turns feeding me during mealtimes if the twins ended up being hungry at the same time. It was our normal. One of the many things they did to show their affection and make it easier on me. Everyone else made their plates, Jin alternating between bites for him and I. Jungkook kept one hand on Sujin at all times, making sure he was snug in my hold. Kook’s hand pat his butt soothingly, even tempting Sujin into an inadvertent nap a couple of times. The poor thing would fall asleep only to jerk himself awake to continue eating once more.
Jimin and Tae thought it was the most adorable thing in the world. Trying to keep their cooing and snickering quiet enough to not wake him when he would fall back under Jungkook’s spell. Through Jin’s occasional bites, I noticed Namjoon watching me throughout the meal. Or more precisely, watching the boys nurse. A smirk formed on my lips as Jin fed me another bite and Namjoon pretended he wasn’t just burning a hole through me.
“You know, acting as if you aren’t staring doesn’t make it any less creepy.” I teased him, the redness taking over the tips of his ears a silent victory for me.
“That’s not- I’m sorry. I don’t mean to make you uncomfortable. It’s just fascinating.”
“I know, Joon. I was kidding. It doesn’t make me uncomfortable. I’m trying to tell you it’s okay to look. You don’t have to sneak glances. It doesn’t bother me.”
Hoseok bumped him with his knee, a soft “I told you so” being whispered between the two before Namjoon swat him away.
“So,” Yoongi filled the silence. “How do we want to go about tonight? Should we split shifts or have one person on duty?”
“I can do it.” Jungkook quickly volunteered. “I got to nap earlier, so I probably won’t sleep much anyway.”
I nodded while pulling my top back into place. “Then Kookie and I can handle it.”
“No. You’ve probably got the least amount of sleep out of all of us the last few days.” Namjoon shook his head. “You’re resting now that we’re home.”
“But I need to feed-“
Jin popped another carrot into my mouth to hush me. A wide smile greeting me as I shot him a glare. He didn’t seem to mind too much as he laid a kiss on my head.
“They can use the milk we’ve stored. That’s what it’s there for.”
I rolled my eyes, but didn’t refuse. Munching on my carrot while looking down at our two boys. Sujin was well asleep now, Yejoon wasn’t, but he laid there quietly with his lips smacking softly. It was almost hard for me to imagine loving another person the way that I loved the seven men I chose to spend the rest of my life with. But now I had two more.
“I’ll help Kook.” Hobi added. “If we need someone else to take over, we can always wake one of you.”
“It’s settled then.” Yoongi yawned, standing from his seat to stretch.
The last few days had weighed on all of us. It was the first time for everyone to be home since the boys were born and I realized it wasn’t just me who was glad to be back. Yoongi rubbed his hands together while walking towards me, the action making me chuckle.
“Give me one. I’ll get him ready for bed.”
Just the sound of Yoongi’s voice had Yejoon excited. His little body beginning to squirm in my hold until Yoongi scooped him up. As cute as it was, the scene made me think that maybe Jimin was right. The boys really do have their favorites already. Taehyung was on his feet in seconds once he realized Yoongi was taking Yejoon to bed. His arms outstretched for Sujin before anyone else could.
“Me too. I need some loves before bed.”
Sujin was less than happy about being disturbed, but it only took Tae a handful of seconds to calm him down. Out of everyone, Taehyung seemed to have the magic touch when it came to Sujin. I had never seen him cry for long when Tae got his hands on him. Which was the complete opposite for poor Jimin. My gaze naturally drifted his direction as Taehyung and Sujin followed Yoongi and Yejoon down the hall. Jimin was pouting, a quiet huff escaping him that nearly made me giggle. I stood, gathering a few of the plates we had used to carry them to the kitchen where Jin and Namjoon had taken it upon themselves to start cleaning up after everyone. Before I passed, I leaned down to kiss Jimin’s forehead.
“It’s okay Minie. You can sleep with me.”
His pout quickly vanished. The smile turning his eyes to crescents as he chirped an agreement and helped the rest of us clean up.

Since having the boys, my biological clock has been all kinds of out of whack. So waking up in the dead of the night really wasn’t that unusual lately. I had gone to bed with Jimin and Namjoon. The latter of which insisted he join us right before we had ventured off to bed. His snores were evidence that he was sleeping soundly on the other side of the bed. I turned my head to check on Jimin, one side of his face smooshed into the pillow, puckering his plump lips into a gentle pout as light breaths escaped him. On the nightstand, the baby monitor was flashing and through Namjoon’s snores, I could hear the faintest bit of talking. I reached out to pick it up, turning the volume up just enough so I could hear better.
“I wish I would have taken a picture; you know?” Kook’s soft voice came through the speaker. “She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen and I wondered what the heck she needed me for. I might have even known right then that I wanted her to be your mommy.”
The topic of conversation made me smile. I wasn’t sure what brought it on, but it was cute. Albeit a bit embarrassing to know exactly what Jungkook thought of me.
“Your aunt Kat used to give me so much shi- poop…” He quickly corrected himself nearly making me burst into giggles. “She knew I was obsessed with mommy, but I used to have to bribe her into not saying anything. I think she went back on our deal though.”
“She definitely went back on your deal.” Another voice chimed in laughing. “You should’ve known better. Kat would never keep something like that from Y/N.”
Hobi sounded pretty chipper with how late it was, and I wondered just how long they’d been awake at this point. Figuring I wouldn’t be getting any sleep any time soon anyway, I set the monitor back on the nightstand before carefully extracting myself from Jimin’s hold and slipping out of bed. On my way down the hall, I could hear them better the closer I got to the nursery. Voices muffled until a much louder, “Whoa!” made me pick up my pace. I rounded the doorway, to find Jungkook laughing his ass off and Hobi standing next to the changing station with wide eyes while holding a diaper over Sujin’s lower half. Both of them turned to me as I entered, Kook trying to stifle his laughter enough to apologize.
“Sorry. Did we wake you?”
I shook my head. “I was already up. What’s going on?”
The question seemed to remind Jungkook of what he had been laughing about before I interrupted. He broke out into fits of laughter again as he nodded towards Hoseok. I turned my eyes to the man himself, his dark hair a mop of a mess on top of his head, his eyes not any less wide as he pointed down at his son.
“He’s a rainbow sprinkler!”
“A what?”
“He just tried to pee on me!”
He was absolutely horrified. Which made the entire situation even funnier. Jungkook fell to his knees beside me, covering his laugh in hopes it wouldn’t wake the rest of the household. I dropped my face into my hands, trying to hide my own and get myself together to help Hobi.
“Rainbow sprinkler.” I muttered under my breath, giggling as I walked over to him. “You’re supposed to hold the diaper there for a second before taking it off to make sure he doesn’t do that.”
“Yejoon doesn’t do that when I change him!” He whined, letting me take over.
“Well, Yejoon isn’t nearly as ornery as his brother.”
I didn’t realize it was possible for babies to have such prominent personalities when they’re so young, but the stark difference between Sujin and his brother proved otherwise. Sujin was definitely going to be harder to handle the older they became. I just hadn’t quite decided which one of his fathers that tendency came from yet. Yejoon was quiet most of the time. Pretty content at just being held and slept most of the time. Even with his brother’s fussing, he didn’t appear particular fazed. That much was obvious as he continued to sleep soundly in the bassinet despite the ruckus around him.
“Why didn’t you say anything? I know you’ve changed him several times.” Hoseok accused Jungkook. “You were just going to let me get peed on?”
Jungkook almost lost it all over again, his breaths coming out harshly as he tried to suck air back in.
“I thought it would only be fair. He’s peed on me twice already.”
“So you were hoping he would!?”
I laughed, trying to shush them through it as I cinched Sujin’s diaper on and picked him up.
“You’ll wake everyone else in the house. Wake Yejoon up and we can go feed them.”
I carried the squirmy menace down the hall, his grunts indicative of his impatience. Yejoon woke when Jungkook picked him up, but went right back to sleep in his dad’s arms. I didn’t really anticipate on waking up to feed them since Namjoon insisted I sleep, so I had pumped right before bed. While I probably had enough to feed them now, Hoseok was already whipping up two bottles, so I let him do his thing. He took out two small bags of my breast milk, popping one into the warmer before opening the second. I watched him, trying to decide whether it was surprising that seeing him do basic dad things was a turn on, or not.
“You know, seeing you so domestic like this, really does it for me.”
Jungkook chuckled, over my shoulder, trying to distract a hungry Sujin long enough for Hobi to finish prepping his bottle.
“Yeah?” Hoseok grinned, shaking his butt as he poured milk into one of the bottles. “Am I sexy?”
“Oh yeah. Tae’s idea of two more is sounding more tempting by the minute.”
The three of us laughed, Jungkook taking a seat next to me as Hoseok handed off the bottle of cold milk for Sujin. He latched onto it immediately, sucking on it harshly as if he hadn’t eaten in days versus a small handful of hours. Yet another difference between him and his brother. Sujin would take milk any way he could get it, the sooner the better too, whereas Yejoon hardly drank it unless it was warm. Hobi quickly filled his bottle, handing it to Jungkook who struggled a little to get Yejoon awake and to take the bottle before the little one finally decided that he was hungry enough to eat. We sat in silence for the most part while Hobi put things away. The dark, quiet house comfortable even with how tired I was.
“This is perfect.” Hobi sighed, standing on the other side of the bar and watching Jungkook and I.
I looked up at him, the soft smile he gave me making my heart swell near to bursting as I was hit all at once all over again just how much I loved these men. I returned his smile, turning my head to Jungkook next where I was sure my heart really did explode. He was gazing down at Yejoon fondly, the biggest smile on his face and eyes misty with tears as he nodded in agreement.
“Yeah.” He whispered, tucking Yejoon in a little closer. “We’re the luckiest dads in the world.”

I’m just here to remind everyone once again that we can’t stop protesting and boycotting and spreading the word for Palestine, even if it’s been a while. The people in power (mainly the Israeli and US governments) are relying on us losing steam.
And I do want to mention that a small bit of hope to be found among all of this is that things aren’t losing steam. I still see dozens of posts about Palestine every day, I see footage of protests almost every day, and the boycotts are working. I just want to encourage everyone that we just need to keep it up! I’ve seen so many social issues fade out over time, a week of outrage and then things settle down, but that isn’t the case here and I really respect everyone who’s still posting and protesting and seeking out information to end this once and for all. Focus on that hope, and use it to keep going :)

——————————————————————————
Every jaw in the room dropped as the tv screen went blank. The lights in the house following suit as they cut out with an electric buzz in the air.
“Someone call Kitten now!” Yoongi yells in the darkness.
You had texted the group to say you were running late, but you were on your way to dinner. The others had worn their costumes, preparing the meal together when Taehyung had called them all into the living room.
“It’s a Halloween prank,” Namjoon tries to rationalise, but his breathing is heavy. “The news channels are obviously playing a prank.”
“It didn’t look like a prank Hyung,” Jimin runs his fingers through his hair, they’re all standing scared still. “And even if it was the news channel didn’t cut our power.”
“Fine then it’s a disease or a new virus, it is NOT zombies.”
“Sunshine!” You finally picked up Hobi’s call, the faint light from his phone lighting the side of his face. The room is so quiet they can all hear your screams. “Sunshine?”
“Hobi help!” The screams are followed by low groaning in the background of the call, the sounds of flesh being ripped through with decaying teeth.
“Kitten!” Yoongi yells, tripping over furniture to get to Hobi who had been petrified into a catatonic state.
And then, silence. There isn’t a single sound, and they all wait with baited breath. They feel the thud of all their hearts hitting the floor when a low moan comes through the line, your voice, there’s no mistaking it but it’s warped, inhuman.
“Bunny?” Jungkook whispers, his eyes watering as his heart picks up in pace.
The line cuts and they’re all left to the sound of their breathing.
“This isn’t happening,” Jimin almost tears his hair out by its roots. “CALL HER BACK!”
“We have to go get her,” Jin is shaking where he stands, his feet cemented to the ground but he knows he has to move. Whatever was going on he knew one thing, you were in danger.
“Everyone turn on your phones flash-“
BAAANNGG
Their souls jump out of their skins as a body slams into the living room window, their eyes going wide with horror as they take in the face in the dark. They can make out no discernible features but they can see the way his face presses against the glass. The silence that follows is deafening, not a breath, not a beat, until they see a tongue lick the surface of the window as if tasting them through it.
“What the actual fuck,” Yoongi breathes, terrified to speak a decibel louder.
The flood lights turn on outside, detecting movement although a little late but it reveals the body’s features and their eyes nearly fall out of their sockets. His entire body is decaying, his eyes set on them, unblinking, his clothes torn to reveal flesh and flies leaving no question what this creature was. But worse, behind him, what started out as a blur that drew closer, a hoard moving towards their home.
“We need to move,” Namjoon’s brain starts kicking into gear, survival mode fighting with instinct to shut down and freeze.
“And go where, we’re sitting ducks,” Jimin panics.
They all turn to the sound of another bang, closer, louder but they all knew what it was… the front door had been breached, they were in the house.
The low moan of their intruder echoes through the dark hallway.
“We need something to fight,” Jungkook whispers, his eyes darting around in the dark, their backs to the repeated thuds on the window from their other guests.
“Knives?” Jimin suggests.
“The kitchens too far,” Taehyung mumbles.
The lights of the hallway start flickering, the living room lights flickering just a second after, the pattern repeats making the men look around desperately for something to be armed with, but nothing usable is in sight.
“We can’t stand here, we have to run,” Jimin starts to hyperventilate.
“He’s right,” Yoongi agrees, tugging the still shell shocked Hoseok to snap out of it.
Jin’s whole body is vibrating with how hard he’s shaking, he knows whatever is in the house can sense them, the groans getting louder and the hoard behind the window getting more vocal with the frustration of a barrier between them and their next meal. He doesn’t hear what words are being said in the room, his hearts thumping in his ears, the blood draining out of him. He feels someone grab his hand, the maknae’s mouth moves in front of him but he can’t make out the words.
He’s being pulled into the hallway, the scene moving almost in slow motion as his brain fails to comprehend the scene but one thing wakes him up. They’re moving closer to the sound, they were running straight into danger.
It was too late, their bodies collided in the hallway, their attempts of escape stopped before they could even begin. A familiar figure stands before them, a silhouette they could make out even if they were blind.
“Baby-“
The lights flicker and the fills with their screams at the horror of their zombified girlfriend before them. They all scream except from one who covers his mouth and his laughter.

The moon hung low in the night sky as you ran in the opposite direction of your house. Well, your brother’s house. You had never considered it a home the moment things took a drastic turn after your parent’s death. A home is a place where one feels safe and secure but this is… this was no home.
You had no sense of direction as you blasted through thick foliage and wet mud. The sky was dark and thunder boomed when you left but now it was pouring. Drenched from head to toe, you felt your anxiety rise as the sky darkened and your lungs collapsed. You paused at the foot of a tree, bending down to catch your breath. You had no idea where you were going. All you knew was that you needed to run.
Run. Run. Run or they will catch you again.
The air was still with your heavy breathing and loud splatters of rain when you heard rustling sounds. Suddenly blinded by the onslaught of light, you made out the rough shape of your bulky brother. Fearing for your life, you quickly stumbled up and ran again. You didn’t dare look back but you dared to look up.
The moon was shining bright tonight, despite the darkness that was chasing you. It casted an ethereal glow over the dense forest and if you tilted your head just right, you could see little rainbows in the making. You ran through the trees, heart pounding against your chest. You didn’t know how far or how close you were to your brother and his gang. At the same time, you didn’t know where the fuck you were. You could just imagine being eaten up by some sort of nocturnal animal in here.
“BITCH! Come back here! Who said you could run away, huh?”
You tried to pump your legs harder - to give you more strength. But you found yourself short of any sort of energy. You didn’t have dinner and it was during your break did you sneak past the back door and run away from them, hastily slipping on your clothes for some decency. You carried nothing with you - just you, underwear, and clothes - which is essentially whatever you were wearing.
“Ey! I swear you’re going to get it from me when we catch you! FUCK, you’re done!”
The sound of your own harsh breathing drowned out the haunting echoes of your abusive brother’s threats. For years, you endured his cruelty, but tonight - tonight you had enough. He sold your body. Sold your body to his friends. You had sobbed and begged with every last shred of dignity you had but they never listened. You didn’t know where you were going but you knew you couldn’t stay there any longer.
You stumbled through the woods on clumsy feet, the darkness of the foliage seemed to close in around you. You tried to keep your anxiety at bay, knowing it would do you more harm than good if you started to panic. Branches clawed at the exposed skin of your feet, the ground beneath the flimsy slippers you hastily wore was uneven and treacherous the deeper you went. Fear gnawed at your insides and despair threatened to overtake you. Breathing harshly, you tried to keep yourself calm.
Just as you thought that all hope was lost and you would have to be running forever or be caught, your attention focused on the soft glow of light emitting from a cottage house. Without thinking, you ran towards it and pulled against the handle, trying every one until you found an open door and slammed it shut behind you.
Sliding onto the floor, you placed your head between your legs, breathing through your mouth. You were tired and bruised. You heard before you saw someone stand in front of you, shadow covering half of your hunched over body. Your breath caught as you slowly took in the sight before you. You were the centre of their attention, their eyes reflecting the silver light of the moon. You were sure you weren’t breathing. THese were the folklore of your little village - stories passed down by the elders from generation to generation.
Werewolves.
Nobody believed that there were such mystical beings living amongst you. But you were certain that they were exactly what you believed. These seven men that surrounded you brought around them an aura of power and grace.
You could easily tell by the tall and commanding figure to your left that that was the leader of the pack. He stepped forward, gait slow and steady, approaching you as if you were a scared prey. But you were quite the opposite. As you looked at each of them, they surveyed you quietly. Looking at each of them in their eyes, you felt a connection deep in your blood - a spark of recognition of what belongs.
“Are you in danger?” he asked, voice low and soothing.
You nodded, voice trembling as you replied, “My - my brother, he and his friends, they - they -”
The door was suddenly banged open as you stumbled into the man’s hold. You felt a sense of protection and comfort you had never known when you were with them. They surrounded you again, this time, as a protection barrier between you and your brother.
You curled deeper into yourself.
Without hesitation, a man grabbed your cheeks and forced you to look at his smiling eyes. “Hey! My name is Jimin! What’s yours?”
“Y/N, come here now.” Your brother commanded. Shivering in your spot against Jimin’s body, you shook your head and rejected him. You didn’t want to.
“Come here now or you will regret it.” You shook your head. You didn’t want to go back to the life you once had. If it was considered life.
“Come here and I won’t kill these ‘men’. They are vicious monsters, you know that.”
Your head turned when you heard your name being called. “You are safe here. We won’t let anyone hurt you now.” You nodded and turned away from your brother, clinging onto Jimin’s shirt tightly.
“It’s funny how you claim to care for your sister when you sold her off. It is funny how you think you would be able to hurt us.” The man with cat-like eyes formed into slits. He certainly looked more like a cat than a wolf.
“HAH!” Your brother laughed maniacally. “You are a bunch of monsters. Werewolves? Ridiculous! You are not wolves nor are you humans. Monsters is an appropriate word to use for paws.”
“Shall we let her choose then?” The man with a fluffy head of hair said.
The silence that followed was deafening. The tension in the air was at its peak and both sides were ready for an attack.
“Come now, Y/N. Let’s go home, I’ll get you some ice cream if you cooperate now.” Your brother held his hand out, palm facing up - placating. He didn’t want to lose his face in front of his friends and males who didn’t even know you.
But you refused. Your head went to Jimin’s neck as you stood up, trying to hook a leg onto his waist.
Keyword: trying.
You were just too short for him.
The man with fluffy hair chuckled lowly at your attempts. Quickly hooking a hand under your thighs, he lifted you up onto Jimin’s hip. As he left, going back to his spot, your hand shot out to hold him in place, accidentally pulling against his hair instead. Your hand quickly retracted and your head shot up.
“I -”
He was quick to soothe you, one hand patting your thigh in a soothing rhythm while the other went to your untamed hair, softly stroking the back of your head.
“Hey, hey. It’s okay, okay? You can do whatever you want with me.” You hesitantly pulled against the sleeve of his shirt.
“Stay? Please?”
He nodded. “Of course, darling. I wouldn’t dare go anywhere.”
The rest of the males reformed themselves to ensure that the three of you in the centre were protected.
“I think it is clear what her choice is. Now leave.” The pack leader commanded, voice strong with power. You saw your brother’s friend pull him along.
“Fine! Die with these mutts around you, whore!”
The cat-wolf lunged for your brother when the pack leader pulled him back.
The males remained in the formation only when they were certain your brother was far enough and they couldn’t smell him from the distance anymore. Only then did they relax their posture, slowly turning towards you with worried eyes. You were no longer shaking in Jimin and the fluffy hair’s hold but your scent was still sour with fear.
They cautiously moved up the stairs to the living room where they sat down at the sofa. You turned your head to look at them. All seven males were foreign to you - as foreign as the way they made you feel safe and protected.
“Should we… say names?” The man with a whole sleeve of tattoos asked, eyes big and filled with curiosity - just like a bunny’s, you thought.
“I’m Namjoon.” The pack leader started.
“Yoongi.” You finally had a name for the cat-wolf.
“Taehyung.” The fluffy head of hair appeared into your view again. “But I give you special permission to call me TaeTae!”
You nodded.
“I’m Seokjin but just Jin is okay, yeah?”
“Me! Me!” The bunny man hopped up. “I’m Jungkookie!”
“You can call me Hobi!”
Oh that man was filled with sunshine, you could clearly see.
“And I’m Jimin but you already know that, little one.”
You nodded.
“Would you like to ask us anything?”
You shook your head then nodded again, pointing to Yoongi. “Cat-wolf. Cat. Meow-Meow.”
Jungkook burst out laughing from your left, igniting a round of laughter that filled the room and lifted the heavy atmosphere.
“For you, you can call me whatever you want, darling.” Yoongi smiled, gums out as he looked at you with adoration.
In that moment, you felt their strength and loyalty, their offering to you of a sanctuary - a refuge from the darkness you fought so hard from. From those that have haunted your life for so long.
As time passed, you became part of their pack - a human amongst werewolves. They were patient in teaching you their traditions and customs, their code of honour and their ways. You learned that they were the protectors of the forest, guardians of the vulnerable, and that they are the core value of the balance of nature itself.
Namjoon, with his kind eyes and strong presence, quickly became a source of your strength and guidance for you. His knowledge and wisdom never failed to keep you entertained. Although clumsy, this man was the foundation of his pack.
Seokjin, with his unseriousness and constant care, he helped heal the wounds that your brother and his friends had inflicted upon you. He kept you steady as you grew, always ensuring to pull you up when you got down but bringing you down when you were too high up.
Yoongi, the car-wolf, with his gentle hands and calm nature became another one of your rocks. He never failed to teach you something new that day and he most certainly cooked one of the best foods you have ever tasted - rivalling Seokjin’s.
Hobi, with his everlasting laughter and sunshine, was an easy person to be around as you healed from your wounds. He never fails to make you laugh. With him around, there was never a dull moment.
Jimin, with his soft and calming nature, he unintentionally healed both your emotional and mental wounds. While Seokjin cared for your physical wounds, Jimin was always a talking buddy that helped you through understanding yourself and your worth.
TaeTae, with his outgoing mischievous nature, the both of you were constantly creating something to be cleaned up. Hand-in-hand with Jungkookie, the three of you liked to run out and about, being everywhere.
Jungkookie, with his curiosity and strength, the both of you were always causing mischief for the others. Like partners-in-crime, the both of you would be curious about everything and anything, so the both of you would always take it upon yourselves to figure out the answers.
But you have also come to realise that the entire pack was more than just a pack - they were a family. Each of them had their own unique qualities and were a force to be reckoned with. Today was a full moon and under the light of the glowing orb, you discovered a love and acceptance that you had never known. Your past, with all its pain and suffering, seems to fade into the background when you are with them. Embracing the new chapter of your life, you ran forward with them, putting your full trust in the seven males you had learned to understand.
With your heart and spirit soaring, you felt the exhilaration of the transformation, the wind against your fur, and the pure joy of being truly free. In these moments, you knew you had found your place - a home amongst those who have shown you the power of love, trust, and transformation.
As you looked up the the moon, you couldn’t help but feel a huge wave of gratitude. The moon led you here today - to the sanctuary - a place where you were no longer a victim but a survivor; that you were no longer alone but in a place filled with love and acceptance.
As you howled at the moon and cuddled amongst your pack, you came to realise that sometimes, safety and love are found in the most unexpected places. For instance, in a moonlit sanctuary of a werewolf pack that had become your everlasting family.
