Right so we're using fake names here, my best friend will be called Julia, the dude will be called matt

So Julia and Matt are both theatre kids and they met two yrs ago, something you need to know is my friend has DOGSHIT taste in men (liking men is already dogshit but that's just even rockier bottom/j). Like she has crushes on some of the worst men I've ever met from a creepy dude, to someone who lacked communication (her current bf 😒) to straight up gingers (ginger men are ugly af /j).

Another friend who we'll be calling Jacky, she also does theatre so they both became friends with matt, hence him joining our social circle

This isn't related but I just wanna point out that me and matt are 'siblings' as we look v similar so we and everyone else say we are

But for like MONTHS she would talk about getting closer to him and having a crush on him, until he came out as gay.

We were all super happy for him (me especially bc I was rlly crushing on her so like "oh no what a shame, your crush, anyway", is this selfish, this feels kinda selfish???)

And she -whilst being happy for him- was devastated but then moved on, but uh like earlier this year I brought it up again bc it was funny (especially from my perspective, gotta smile through the unrequitedness) she legit paid me to not bring it up again soooo

But that's basically it was extremely funny once he came out , not before though, that shit was hell for me

I don't think he ever knew about her crush (wouldn't be surprised though, she's very obvious) I still like to annoy her about it though, lol
