tsu'tey had always been a complicated man. he was a fierce warrior and a tough personality; and also very hard to read. it had been arranged many months ago that the two of you were to be mated, and although he showed no outward signs of objection, you had no idea where his mind was at. he was not the kind of man to open up easily, so you had to slowly piece the puzzle together yourself. you kept your distance as much as you possibly could for someone who was due to be mated with him, trying to adjust to the new personality in your life.

you put away your healing supplies as you prepared to close the healing tent, having just patched up your last patient for the night; a very clumsy jake. you placed the last bottle back on the table as you heard a knock on the wooden beam of the entrance. you turned and were surprised to see ker'van who smiling at you confidently.

'oh... hello, ker'van.' you smiled, analysing his body for wounds but unable to locate any. 'do you need help? i have just packed away but i can get my supplies back out.' you suggested as he made his way closer to you.

'no, no...' he trailed off as he leaned against the table, knocking some of your supplies over.

'erm, i need those.' you chuckled lightly, walking over to pick them up. 'let me just-' your sentence was cut short as ker'van took your hand in his.

'how about you join me tonight for an ikran ride?' he suggested with hopeful eyes. you couldn't help but laugh in his face, knowing that he knew of your arrangement with tsu'tey. a deep blush rose to his cheeks as he pushed himself from the table, clearly embarrassed.

'i am sorry, i did not mean to laugh. it is just that-'

'she is with me... which i know you are well aware of.' tsu'tey growled as he walked into the tent. he found his place by your side, snaking an arm around your waist before hissing in the young warriors face, causing him to drop a few shades. 'you would do well to stay away from her.' he spat, his eyes dark and threatening.

'yes, s- sorry, sir...' ker'van spluttered before quickly making his way to the exit; not looking back once. once he was out of sight, tsu'tey instantly turned to you, taking your hands in his as concern glossed his eyes.

'are you okay? did he make you uncomfortable?' he questioned as you stared at him wide eyed. you were not used to seeing this protective side of him; it felt nice to know you were well taken care of.

'i am okay. thank you.' you smiled as tsu'tey repaid you with a rare smile of his own.

'you do not need to thank me.' he whispered as he looked to the scattered bottles on the table. 'i will help you clean up.' he began to put the bottles back in their place as you watched him with a soft smile; realising you were finally starting to see the real tsu'tey.

What little sleep you got that night was plagued with nightmares of blood in the sand. You woke up, panicked, several times throughout the night, only to drift back into your uneasy sleep after a few seconds.

When you finally woke up all the way, you felt like the weight of the ocean was weighing on your chest. You stared up at the cover of the tent above you numbly. The anxiety you were feeling was paralyzing, and it didn’t help that the viper ray sting had drained much of your strength and energy.

You didn’t know how long you lay awake and unmoving, but there was soon movement outside that pulled you out of your thoughts. You turned your head to look at who was entering, and your stomach tightened uneasily when you realized who it was.

I sketched my 2 OCs

So my light skinned OC Ayluna is a hybrid, like an Avatar, but she is more Human than the normal avatars. (That's also why she has lighter skin)

The problem is, because she has more Human DNA bred into her, she lost some abilities. For example her Kuru is shorter, also her tail and her body in general is smaller.

Because of this, she has problems to perform tsaheylu. She can totally do it, but it feels different than what Na'vi experiences. Often this causes animals to not bond with her, coz they can't truly connect.

The Na'vi on the right he did Tsaheylu with her to see where the problem is and felt like it's hard to truly connect to her in mind. But because they truly trust each other, they learned to bond.

You can see it as Aylunas Kuru has a disability. The other Na'vis don't trust her. They think it's not good she is with the tribe, she can't even fully connect with her surroundings.

She has a hard time finding her way on Pandora.
