We had many dreams, ambitions and successes, a beautiful and colorful life, but as you know, the Israeli occupation destroyed our dreams and our lives.

Before October 7, I was studying a master’s degree in journalism at the Islamic University of Gaza,

and my husband was working as a pharmacist in one of Rafah’s pharmacies, but! The cruel war on Gaza ended everything. Our dreams were lost,

We lost our home and my husband’s job. My university was destroyed. I did not obtain a master’s degree.

My children no longer had any meaning in life. My daughter Judy’s school and my son Saeed’s nursery were also destroyed.

Today is the ninth month of the war. Everything became very difficult.

We have run from death many times to many places in search of safety, but no place is ever safe in Gaza.

Only hunger and genocide!

My only hope is to save my little family and get out of Gaza, to start a new life from scratch. It is very difficult to leave your homeland, but we are forced.

Their house was completely destroyed, and Muhammad's father is also unwell and needs constant medical care. The family is focusing their efforts on caring for Muhammad, as he will need many operations to restore his hand to what it was, and also on rebuilding their destroyed home."
