Mostly about how in his first encounters with everyone, they probably didn’t know he was deaf.

So think about all these fighters trying to intimidate Mac with their taunts and Mac is just standing there, mega confused and trying helplessly to read lips talking in foreign languages.

Now with that in mind, imagine Don being so mad bc he doesn’t understand why this little kid isn’t even blinking when he says something! Smug little shit he is. Ofc Mac finds it super funny because at this point in the game he isn’t concerned with trying to understand them.
