i hate it when i cant even write a poem about something because its too obvious. like in the airbnb i was at i guess it used to be a kids room cause you could see the imprint of one little glow in the dark star that had been missed and painted over in landlord white. like that's a poem already what's the point

i really love how all the origin characters are so connected in their stories and themes.

gale and lae'zel and shadowheart all grappling with their relationship with their god, and lae'zel and shadowheart in particular grappling with losing their Identity and community when losing their religion.

karlach and astarion and wyll having their bodies permanently changed against their will, karlach and astarion dealing with or not dealing with their own deaths because of those changes, wyll and astarion feeling like they've become monsters after making a hasty deal they were backed into, wyll and karlach grappling with still trying to do good in the world despite all of this.

lae'zel and karlach learning to fight hard to survive. shadowheart and karlach holding onto soft spots in their hearts despite everything. wyll and shadowheart hopeless romantics at heart. gale and astarion desperate for power they think will fix them. lae'zel and gale defying their god who would see them dead. astarion and shadowheart trying to figure out who they are without their pasts. gale and wyll throwing themselves into doing things for others.

i just can't get enough of all of them together no matter the combinations. what a great set of characters at the core of this game.
