SETTERS REACTING TO YOU CHEERING AT THEIR GAME.

kageyama, sugawara, oikawa, akaashi, atsumu, + kenma.

genre - fluff.

✰ kageyama is red faced and you can’t possibly miss the surprise highlighting his features. meets your gaze and offers a timid smile, raising a hand to wave back, and somehow turns a darker shade of scarlet when you beam in return. scowls when his teammates make fun of him, but he can’t ignore the thundering of his heart when he sees you.

✰ sugawara is the opposite, excitedly waving back when he hears your voice shout his name. he grins something fierce in response, hands lifting to form a heart close to his chest, and laughs when your cheers increase in volume. now he’ll do much better with you in the crowd, he knows this. he’ll make you proud, just watch.

✰ oikawa is used to hearing his name cheered at all of his games, a prodigy at its finest and loved by most who roamed the halls of seijoh - but when he hears your voice in particular, the rest of the crowd drowns out. eyes widen in awe at your enthusiasm, temporarily mesmerized, and a cheeky grin is soon to grace his lips— pointing to you with a wink as if to say this one’s for you.

✰ atsumu feigns his disregard for the squeals of his name that come from the stands above, though the tiniest of smirks lingers on his lips much to his brother’s dismay. he turns to send a snarky comment towards his twin but stops short when his hears your voice clearly from within the crowd, snapping his head towards the direction your voice came from. unbridled pride threatens to make his heart burst from his chest when you lock gazes, and he allows a faint and genuine smile to linger, just for a moment.

✰ akaashi is quiet but pleasant surprise highlighted by the faint blush that dusts over the apples of his cheeks, a smile growing upon his lips. his teammates catch on to his contagious mood, knowing they would all do their best, him especially. bokuto grins, pleased with the energy coursing through his team, and leads the team in an energectic roar in response. somehow, his nerves are put at ease despite the confidence he has in his team, and he wonders for a brief moment how a person so special could have such an effect on him.

✰ kenma startles when he hears the sound of your voice shout his name, slowly turning around to meet your gaze. his eyes widen when your cheers spark a standwide uproar of cheers, and he can't find it in himself to push off the arm that slings over his shoulders, courtesy of his childhood friend. his chest swells with an unrivaled feeling of warmth. moments later, a timid smile can’t help but grown upon his lips, though it’s quickly wiped away when the teasing of his teammates begins to be too much. you had seen it, though, and it meant the world to you and more.

You turn back, and Iwaizumi’s heart skips a beat when he sees the absolute joy on your face.

“Then walk faster Hajime!” you call out to him, motioning him to hurry up. Iwaizumi ever so slightly hurries his stride to catch up to you. And when he does, you instantly latch onto his arm, excited for today’s date.
