i saw someone on twitter pitch an idea for a show where you and steve from the OG blues clues try to figure out adult problem solving related to taxes and taking out a loan or writing a cover letter cleverly titled “steve and you get a clue” and i think that’s great i think there’s an audience for it but i was immediately confronted with an image for an episode where you’re already trying to solve another problem and then the check engine light comes on on steve’s car and steve draws the check engine light symbol in his handy dandy notebook

IS PISCES A GOOD SIGN?

Update: thank you everyone that has helped so far. They were able to get back into the city and assess the damage. Their house has no roof or power and is likely to be condemned. We have secured lodging for everyone about 2.5 hours from the city. We are now trying to figure out the next moves. Any help you can give is needed while everyone is trying to figure out the basics of their lives.

The reasons for this GoFundMe: My wife’s children and extended family were hit really hard by hurricane Ida in New Orleans. Everyone evacuated and is safe, but they have been uprooted from their homes and jobs until the city rebounds. Electricity and running water are expected to take a month to be restored. Fusehound Headcannon:

Fuse and Bloodhound have feelings for each other but haven’t admitted it to each other yet, both of them are at Mirage’s bar with all of the other legends.

Bloodhound sits alone at the corner of a table with a drink in their hand while pretending not to watch Fuse while Fuse is surrounded by woman on the other side of the bar.

All The Woman Fuse was surrounded by were captivated by Fuse as he would tell stories of what happened to him back on Salvo, but what the woman didn’t know was that Fuse was talking loud enough so that Bloodhound was able to hear him and hopefully catch their attention, he would try his hardest not to look at Bloodhound on the other side of the bar as he knew they would probably catch Fuse looking at them.

Bloodhound Suddenly heard one of the woman on the other side suddenly trying to Flirt with Fuse, The Hunter suddenly become anxious and tried their best not to be Jealous over it, instead, Bloodhound stood up from their chair and walked out of the bar without taking a second glance at anyone.

Once Fuse Knew that Bloodhound had left the bar, he suddenly became quiet and didn’t have any interest in talking anymore and definitely no interest in any of the woman, only in Bloodhound.

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, COVID-19 has brought hell upon the last few years for many people - C and myself included. We’re both disabled and immunocompromised, so this entire thing has been terrifying.

With the eviction protection ending recently and our apartment raising rent again, we’re terrified of losing our home. We’ve been staying afloat thanks to stimulus money, but it’s run out. We don’t like having to ask for help, but we’ve run out of options…

Hurricane Ida

Letting everyone know what’s going on: I am a New Orleans native, born and raised, and I live just south of the city in an area called the West Bank. Just in case you are not aware, we are about to be hit with a Cat 4/5 hurricane and my family has evacuated to the northern part of the area so that we are safe, but we have no idea if there will be anything to return to. This is where the Hurricane is as of right now:

I will check in as soon as possible after the storm passes and then we will see what the damage is. If I may ask a favor from all of my followers, I ask that you please pray for everyone in Louisiana, especially those who didn’t have the means to evacuate.

Hurricane Ida has hit landfall as a Category 4. I am fortunate enough to not be at risk where I live, but many are, and as we remember the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, I wanted to spotlight an organization that will be providing aid relief in New Orleans. HURRICANE IDA DISASTER RELIEF

Hurricane Ida is set to become a massive disaster for Louisiana tomorrow, on the very anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, and the situation is looking worse for New Orleans in particular by the hour.

This, as always, will disproportionately affect Black and POC communities in the area. Let's make sure we support them in this time because you can't really rely on FEMA. I will link to the Red Cross donation site, but if you have links to local organizations, especially those who work within Black and POC communities, who are looking for donations to help residents recover from Ida, please reblog and add links.
