Back in the 90s, the only superheroes that people knew from Marvel were just the X-Men and Spider-Man and people didn't take the superhero genre seriously. Iron Man is only so popular today because the MCU movies performed well and became mainstream. If the movies weren't great or didn't perform well in Phase 1, I think Disney might've given up on trying to make movies starring B-list and C-list characters. Marvel is mainstream now to general audiences now, but no one can really deny that Sony was right about Spider-Man being more popular than the other Marvel characters.

i learned that in 1998 Sony had the chance to buy the rights to almost every Marvel character for 25 million. They opted to only buy the rights to Spider-Man for just 7 million, stating, “Nobody gives a shit about the other Marvel characters.” (x)

I had a teacher in high school that also used to go to the school as a student, and some of his former teachers are now his coworkers. I imagine that was very strange at first.

It was a small cameo, but seeing Matt Murdock on screen for just a little bit made me so happy. I actually teared up. I contained my reaction because none of the audience really gave a big reaction so they either didn't recognize who he was or didn't really care, but the fact that he appeared gave me hope that maybe Daredevil can appear in another MCU movie or maybe a Disney+ series.
