•My English teacher giving everyone an A+ on an essay bc he “didn’t feel like grading them”

•This dude in Spanish class leaving in the middle of class bc he mistook it for French class

•My biology teacher dancing to Beyonce in the beginning of class

•Every freshman gathering outside the English classes chanting “KILL THE PIG! CUT HER THROAT! SPILL HER BLOOD”

•My Geometry teacher whispering “how can you not see that I am the second coming of Christ” under her breath

•someone was watching Narcos in class

•me answering every jeapordy answer in biology class and the teacher telling me “might as well give all the points to you because you know them anyways”

•someone writing vine quotes on the whiteboard in Geometry class. No one knows who did it

•someone writing the bee movie script on the whiteboard in art class. It’s still there to this day

•My AVID teacher walking into class with heelys and dabbing after every sentence

•someone blasting slob on my knob on their speaker on their way to lunch

•My art teacher: “yeah men are cool but have you seen women?? Amazing” *class is dead silent* “Oh did I ever mention I’m a lesbian?”

•My friends and I jokingly calling the Anime club the Weeaboo Association Club, we got banned for 3 weeks after that

•My Spanish teacher blasting music during our tests

•This one time we were playing Quizlet in English class and everyone put Gucci Gang as our names

•My bio teacher before a kahoot game: “I’ll give you guys extra credit points if you put your name as a meme reference”

•Our school banning off-the-shoulder blouses. 50 girls were dress coded the first day of school and tHE BOYS PROTESTED BY WEARING SAID BANNED BLOUSES THE NEXT DAY. WE MADE IT ON NEWS ARTICLES.

VET BILL

I have to take my cat to the vet tomorrow morning for an emergency appointment. I think he has an abscess in his lower jaw and I’m not sure how much the visit, treatment, and medication will cost. I’m really nervous cause I’ve never had to take a pet in to get emergency treatment before. If any of you would like to donate to help me cover the possible costs I’d really appreciate it. Below is a picture of his mouth on the left you can see the swelling in his bottom left jaw that makes it difficult for him to close his mouth completely. Today at my school we had an assembly about internet predators and when I had said that most of my true friends are over the internet and they gave me a lecture about how “I don’t know who I’m talking to” blah blah. So please, if you aren’t a predator in any way, please reblog so i can prove a point.

You're white before you're queer.

I can easily avoid homophobia by just simply hiding the fact that I am a lesbian.

Yeah okay, I can't easily hide my assigned sex by birth (I'm nonbinary), but I'm really tall, I have a buzzcut, hoodies easily hide my chest, as long as I don't talk, I can pass as a boy.

A lot of times people in public do mistakes me for a guy.

And yes, hiding your queerness? Sucks. It really does. Having to find ways to protect yourself is a form of oppression.

But people of color?

They can't just hide their skin color.

When people see me, before they see anything else, they see a white person. So usually, people assume I am sensible, and calm.

But when a white person sees a black person, they immediately assume they are a thief, they are loud, they are "ghetto".

I can avoid oppression.

People of Color cannot.
