I've been wanting to make a fan animation for @somerandomdudelmao for a while now, and my sister came up with this brilliant idea. Here's to Tiny Tello; may we see him again one day.

Here's a tip! (You don't have to take this into consideration) When drawing mask tails I like to think of where the mask tails are coming from (knot), if they are being blown by the wind, and how long I want them to be.

Style type: Flowy

-kind of being blown by the wind but not too much

-like a slight breeze or smthn

-or just to add some moving parts to your art, whatever you want rly

I usually have my mask tails coming from a certain point (shown above) but you can do whatever you want really, it just seems easier to me

Style type: Resting

-straight up no wind, i.e inside (house, building, a place with no draft, etc)

-just basically no movement

-mask tails are resting on the wearer’s back/shell

Style type: Heroic

-DO WHATEVER

-you can go as CRAZY as you WANT

-this type is usually shown in a nice/disastrous setting with some heroic dialogue, or angsty dialogue 👀 I’m not judging

- really flowy and wild

REMEMBER!

When we are looking at a character head on we don't always see their mask tails (unless there is wind present)

Also! Another thing that helps me with character head shapes/ body designs are reference sheets!

(The color reference was made by @pluvionpc which I found very helpful! The full body reference sheet was made by Nickelodeon themselves) ( and yes I know the quality is bad on the color references 😭)
