Makes sense, Echo would be the same lol, I just don't think she knows if the little turtle actually has parents. Which is probably why shes been a lot more comfortable and welcome around Misa 😁

I'm sure if she knew Misa had parents she would keep physical interaction at minimum unless Misa initiates contact (oops I rambled again)

If anything, Echo is a nice teenager who understands kids 🤷

Either storyline would be good, and I like the idea of echo doin crimes >:]

You know what I actually had an entire different idea for how Echo and the other turtles were going to meet, but ended up scrapping the entire idea since I thought it would be weird with all my other idea.

Echo was originally going to be captured by the turtles after she committed a few crimes for big Mama, she would be arrogant and stubborn but eventually gave in and left after they freed her.

I also was going to make Echo never leave Big Mama until the turtles (specifically Raph) convinced her that Big Mama was evil and was a bad person, but I decided that she would run away instead so she could meet the turtles at Seniõr Hueso's after she got a job there.

Also Echo is Mexican since her species of turtle are originally found in the Gulf of Mexico, but she does love Polynesian culture.

These are all scenes from wallbanger2008’s fic pink elephants, wherein Donnie accidentally gives April the ability to read minds andddd yeah, just, go read it if you like apritello. Like it is some top tier in-character stuff, I’ll tell ya. It was hard to choose scenes to illustrate bc I loved them all a ridiculous amount but I ending up going with one funny, one heartbreak-y and one fluffy as hell 💕
